The Hog Operator will be responsible for operating the HOG Trucks to provide surface preparation, coating removal, pavement marking and runway rubber removal on various roadways and airport runways across the United States and around the world as needed. Requirements
Specific responsibilities include:
Operate Stripe Hog Waterblasting system producing up to 40,000psi. removing paint and thermo from roadways and rubber from airport runways
Maintain FLDOT Hours of Service on electronic logging device
Complete a shift inspection checklist on vehicles and/or equipment prior to use. Identify possible vehicle/equipment malfunctions and/or hazards and perform roadside maintenance when possible.
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete various subcontractor required safety orientation company
The work environment may be wet; operators always wear protective gear and strictly follow safety protocols.
Maintain good housekeeping practices on heavy equipment machinery
Assist with equipment preventative maintenance as needed
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of relevant experience operating heavy equipment.
Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - Scheduled hours will vary based on project necessity and will be communicated to the team member via a scheduling application installed on a company-provided tablet. It is most common to have road closure availability to perform removal projects. It is extremely important that each applicant understands that these jobs are 85-90% of the time performed at night, with varying shifts starting at 7:00 pm and extending through 7:00 am the next morning. Schedules are based on business needs.
Travel - this position primarily involves travel within the state of Florida with travel across the United States and around the world as needed. Must be available to work out of town regularly and at times up to 30 consecutive days as necessary understanding, the daily/weekly schedule is driven by business needs and changes based on these needs.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - must pass a background check and drug test.

Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety check on equipment and the truck to assure a safe vehicle.

Backs truck under loading hopper, starts mixer to receive concrete.
Follows guidelines and instructions by dispatch personnel.
Drive the truck to designated job sites for unloading. Must be able to distinguish between safe and unsafe conditions at the job site, in traffic and throughout plant areas.
Assemble the concrete chute and attach chute to the back of the truck.
Control the appropriate levers on the truck to discharge concrete according to specifications
