Position Summary:
The primary purpose of your job is to transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activity functions, and in emergency transport situations as directed. Follows all regulatory and safety policies.
Education/Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
Must possess a valid driver license, in good standing as determined by the Community, and must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.
Must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete required documentation.
Must meet Community driver approval process and have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Qualifications:
CDL Class B License with a clean driving record and tanker endorsement.
Experience with combination vehicles, roll-offs, or garbage trucks (passenger-only transport experience not suitable).
Manual transmission experience is required (we do not operate many automatic vehicles). Vehicles are manual and 8 to 10 speed.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
Comfortable lifting over 50 lbs and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Comfortable working in various weather conditions and in potentially hazardous environments.
