The Role
As a Bonrue Driver, you'll ensure our stores receive the freshest ingredients and baked goods daily. You'll maintain accurate delivery logs, handle products with care, and represent the Bonrue brand with professionalism at every stop.
What You'll Do
Load, transport, and deliver baked goods and ingredients to Bonrue restaurant locations on time
Follow assigned routes and schedules with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
Safely handle and protect all food items during transport (including temperature control when needed)
Complete daily delivery logs and communicate updates or delays to commissary or store leadership
Assist in loading/unloading and organizing product at each location
Inspect vehicle before and after each route, reporting maintenance or repair needs
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and vehicle safety protocols

PURPOSE
Responsible for driving delivery vehicles and/or operating truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site. Maneuvers vehicles into loading or unloading positions and ensures that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage and locations of deliveries. Checks items against invoice to ensure order accuracy.
Acts as a customer service liaison between the company and the site customer. Handles customer concerns and helps resolve issues as they arise.
Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles; performs routine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines.
Required to use hand held devices, except for while driving, to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS.
Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures.
May perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork.
Operate a Forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and off load materials to designated areas.
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
