What is a Salesperson?

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives. The role has good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge. The role has the basic ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

* Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
* Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
* Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
* Maintain store product and operational standards
* Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities

* Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
* General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
* Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

1.Personally greet every customer as they walk through the door and maintain friendly contactthroughout their shopping experience

2.At checkout, implement suggestive selling techniques, as appropriate, and assist with problemsolving.

3.Order any out of stock, special order items, create purchase orders, transfers, and follow upwith customers by phone calls to completion of invoice.

to work variable schedules, including weekends.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires individuals to regularly be on

their feet except when operating machinery, or performing supervisory responsibilities. They must be able to

stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 lbs regularly. Must

be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet. Should not have any lifting

restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. They should be able to tolerate high and low temperature

levels. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. The noise level is

moderately loud.
