Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of shipping, receiving, and material handling tasks to maintain efficient workflow throughout the facility. Operate lift trucks, balers, roll grabs, palletizing presses, manual strappers, and stretch wrappers. Keep production machines supplied with appropriate paper while maintaining safe driving habits. Weigh and record all machine waste, maintain accurate waste records, and bale and store salvage paper. Stage, load, and unload finished goods and raw materials for shipping and storage. Stack, pull, and put away finished goods and other materials as needed or directed. Weigh return rolls, assign bin locations, and complete required documentation accurately. Unload incoming trucks and properly store raw materials in designated locations. Learn and perform all phases of the packaging and finishing process. Maintain proper flow of paperwork and utilize computer systems related to inventory and shipping. Ensure job safety checklists are completed and follow all lift truck safety rules.
