Driver Responsibilities: Inspect delivery trucks before and after trips. Monitor truck maintenance and report repair needs. Assist with or oversee loading and unloading of cargo. Maintain accurate logs of cargo weight, mileage, and arrival/departure times. Transport local cargo safely and efficiently to designated destinations. Qualifications: Non-excepted interstate driver certification with valid DOT medical clearance. Forklift certification required. Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities. High attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines consistently. Ability to lead by example and support team members as needed. Work Conditions & Schedule: Eight (8), Ten (10), or Twelve (12) hour shifts. Overtime as required. Exposure to changing temperatures, humidity, fumes, and mechanical equipment. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion. Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs as required.
