Overview
The Material Handler/Driver works daily to pick, stage and transfer material to/from production following internal processes and procedures for inventory control while adhering to safety and quality policies. Additionally, this position requires the ability to drive a transport vehicle (26,000 pounds) between company locations as needed based. Work is varied and is done under general supervision. Duties require detail orientation and initiative to acquire more complex skills with the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Minimum 18+ years old
• 2+ years' forklift / materials handling experience in a manufacturing environment; food & beverage manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous experience driving 26,000-pound truck preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works in a food manufacturing environment and requires the ability to adhere to all GMP, Food Safety, workplace safety and security policies including wearing required personal protective equipment, as well hair net, beard net, etc. as required. • Follow FIFO at all times. Report issues that will impact accuracy of inventory.

• Load/Unload box truck following standard Safety procedures
