Responsibilities

* Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.
* Cycle count inventory, store in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
* Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
* Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
* Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

The 1st Shift Part Time Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the fulfillment of Customer Orders by retrieving and stacking specific product and quantities as specified on the Pick Ticket/Computer Screen assigned on a pre-determined conveyor and, or pallet. The Forklift Operator role at the Faison location provides support by driving and supporting key initiative to improve performance throughout the plant. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: :
This position requires constant standing, use of hands and fingers and eye-hand coordination. This position requires frequent reaching with hands and arms, and occasional sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and turning or bending at waist. Incumbent must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Good close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well depth perception and the ability to see colors and adjust focus are required.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. This position works indoors in a manufacturing (warehouse) environment. Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. This position is occasionally exposed oil, grease or dirt, and to the risk of electrical shock. A loud noise level is typical for the work environment of this job. Duties and Responsibilities
* Opening available for transfer driver to pick up loads daily in Charleston, South Carolina, will be required to off load in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina.
Drive a reefer box truck to deliver high-quality food products to customers, primarily in the hospitality and food-service industries
Track delivery progress and report issues in real time via routing software deployed on a mobile phone or tablet
Answer phone correspondence in a timely manner to efficiently communicate with dispatch and management
Load, unload, and stack products for customers
Provide excellent customer service while checking in orders and collecting payment from customers upon delivery
Perform daily vehicle checks for roadworthiness and maintenance issues
Perform safety inspections; prepare safety and post-incident reports as needed
Comply with DOT regulations and traffic laws
Maintain a positive MVR score for the duration of employment

Qualifications (Required)

Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to manage the movement of materials and products within our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines.
Shifts:
1st: 7 am - 5:30 pm + mandatory overtime, Monday - Thursday (Fridays/Weekends may be required at times)
3rd: 7 pm - 5:30 am + mandatory overtime, Monday - Thursday (Fridays/Weekends may be required at times)
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling:
Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items to designated locations within the plant.
Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas with precision and care.
Ensure materials are stacked and stored properly to prevent damage or hazards.
Inventory Management:
Track and record material movements using inventory management systems or manual documentation.
Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and organization in the warehouse.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions.
Follow proper operating procedures to extend equipment lifespan and minimize wear.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
Collaboration:
Work closely with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure timely and efficient material movement.

Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety and material handling best practices.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
