The Finished Product Logistics Handler is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and documentation of finished goods to/from the local warehouse, off-site distribution center(s), and off-site processing centers (e.g., tollers). This role ensures that products are accurately received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Created STOs to allow the shipment of product to off-site warehouses.
+ Ensure that shipment paperwork is properly prepared and that email communications are made to logistics/trucking companies so that shipments can be processed in an efficient and timely manner.
+ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming finished products and packaging materials.
+ Inspect received goods from external and internal sources and ensure packaging quality standards are met.
+ Ensure safe storage and handling of products in designated warehouse locations.
+ Assist warehouse operators in picking and preparing orders for shipment based on customer or internal requests.
+ Assist warehouse operators during heavy truck loading periods.
+ Help troubleshooting packaging and material handling equipment.
+ Fulfill customer sample shipment requests
+ Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
+ Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (SAP).
+ Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
+ Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented.
+ Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
+ Assist in resolving shipping or inventory discrepancies
**Work Environment:**
+ Warehouse or distribution center setting.
