We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Warehouse Specialist to join the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University to support a Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of critical supplies and equipment to both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) locations, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and policies. You will:
Assist in the development and execution of logistics plans, policies, and procedures to support the DoD Joint Program objectives
Maintain accurate inventory records, track the movement of assets, and conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accountability and compliance with DoD regulations
Prepare and process all required shipping documentation, including DD Form 1348, Material Inspection and Receiving Reports (MIRR), and Commercial Bills of Lading (CBL)
Manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and equipment to support DoD Joint Program requirements in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
Implement and maintain an efficient warehouse layout to optimize storage capacity, workflow, and safety
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of shipments to both CONUS and OCONUS locations

Serco is supporting USACE to renovate the Power Building (J-Plant) and providing it with High Altitude Electro Magnetic Pulse (HEMP) protective measures.The Logistician's primary role is to provide on-site receiving and accountability of construction materials and equipment. Tasks included inventory control, tool management, and hazardous material control and management. Additional duties include assisting Travel personnel with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, meal card management, and return flight arrangements.
**This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance**
**ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:** **_This is a year-round position; current rotation is 3 months on and 1 month away from the site_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide on-site shipping and receiving materials and construction equipment.
+ Provide on-site inventory control and management of all SERCO assets.
+ Provide on-site tools management.
+ Provide on-site hazardous material inventory, control and overall management.
+ Provide on-site flammable storage inventory and control of all flammable materials and liquids.
+ Assist the SERCO travel office with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, to include meal card distribution, room preparation prior to arrival, and return flight coordination.
+ Maintain inventory status in Serco's warehouse management software suite.
+ Initiate purchase requests for site supplies and misc. materials.
+ Proactively resolve material and logistical problems or issues with the Serco management team and other subcontractors.

+ Coordinate shipping plans and documentation with other Serco warehouse sites as necessary.
+ Track and report large purchase order status as necessary with support from Serco's purchasing group.
+ Be present at the work site, attend and report weekly plan updates as it pertains to logistic, hazardous material or flammable container issues.
+ The logistician typically reports to the Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**

Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour

doughnuts to a local grocery store chain. We are looking for Route Drivers with great attitudes and great customer service skills. Driving is only a small percentage of your day and Deliveries make up the rest... So, we need people who are highly skilled - on the road and with customers.
At Krispy Kreme, we're always focused on creating the most awesome doughnut experience imaginable. As a Doughnut Delivery Driver, you'll be delivering customers the joy that is Krispy Kreme, our fresh and delicious doughnuts.
What will you do? You will deliver doughnuts to our grocery store partners. Great customer service, teamwork and communications skills are needed for creating professional relationships with the team at each store stop. Your daily routine will also include loading product onto your vehicle while cross-referencing your shuttle delivery orders.
On the move This role requires you to drive, sit, reach, bend, stand, carry, push, pull, grasp, and lift. You'll be exposed to indoor and outdoor environments. Let's start with driving. We want you to be safe while on the road. Using good driving decisions is the first step to preventing accidents, as are adhering to traffic rules and regulations, and reporting all moving violations and accidents involving injury or property damage. Keeping your vehicle clean is part of the deal, as is performing routine maintenance checks like checking the oil level and of course reporting any concerns to your Supervisor so they can be fixed. You'll need to be able to lift a decent amount of weight, up to 75 pounds at times. We have hand-trucks and carts to push and pull products up and down ramps or lift gates, on sidewalks and through store isles.
Assist in deliveries at our nearby locations when needed. What makes you a great fit?A valid driver's license is needed to get the job. Reading and writing proficiency are a must since you'll be validating product orders, reading boxes and labels, and reading and comprehending road signs, and vehicle dashboard/instrument panel cues. You'll be 21 years of age or older. It's extra awesome if you have prior experience with route deliveries, customer service, handheld devices for inventory, and driving experience with a commercial vehicle.
