Under the direction of the Medical Director, Curbside Care this person transports a team of BMC clinicians to patients' homes in the City of Boston for health care services on board the Mobile Unit (which is a modified ambulance) for a minimum of 32 hours per week. This person is an integral part of the Mobile Unit team and may be called upon to assist with patients' safe entry and exit of the vehicle and ensuring the outside environment is appropriate for patient care. Additionally, this person is responsible for maintaining the Mobile Unit in accordance to Department of Public Health licensure and BMC standards of care. Duties may include: timely disposal of hazardous waste and sharps, removal and replacement of linens, routine cleaning of the clinical space and equipment, ensuring the appropriate storage, transport, and delivery of medications, vaccines, and specimens and maintenance of emergency equipment on the Mobile Unit. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Curbside Care this person transports a team of BMC clinicians to patients' homes in the City of Boston for health care services on board the Mobile Unit (which is a modified ambulance) for a minimum of 32 hours per week. This person is an integral part of the Mobile Unit team and may be called upon to assist with patients' safe entry and exit of the vehicle and ensuring the outside environment is appropriate for patient care. Additionally, this person is responsible for maintaining the Mobile Unit in accordance to Department of Public Health licensure and BMC standards of care. Duties may include: timely disposal of hazardous waste and sharps, removal and replacement of linens, routine cleaning of the clinical space and equipment, ensuring the appropriate storage, transport, and delivery of medications, vaccines, and specimens and maintenance of emergency equipment on the Mobile Unit.
