Doctor Chris Page had a vision that he acted upon back in 1996.
What I’m about to describe here is a story that most who have built a successful company can and will relate to. It all began in 1996…in a Barn.
In 1998, DriverCheck bought CanStaff, a national provider of drug and alcohol testing.
By 2001, DriverCheck had outgrown the rustic comfort of the barn and moved into our new headquarters—a 6,000 square foot stone building in the village of Ayr, Ontario, one of the busiest trucking hubs in the country.
In 2004, DriverCheck integrated with HealthStar, a national provider of drug and alcohol testing.
A plan to expand the company building, adding an extra 5000 square feet is being executed in the fall of 2006.
By 2006, the exponential growth of the business required an addition of another 6,000 square feet to accommodate DriverCheck’s growing customer service, booking, accounting and results departments.
In 2006, DriverCheck acquired AccuTest, a drug and alcohol testing provider based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In 2011, DriverCheck bought Canada Wide Mobile, a provider of drug and alcohol testing and occupational health services.
Rate how well DriverCheck lives up to its initial vision.
