Anthony Vittone, an accomplished lawyer and business executive, serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. He oversees DroneUp’s business in finance, investors, sales, marketing, legal, HR and contract fulfillment. Vittone has extensive experience in working with developing businesses in a variety of disciplines. Prior to joining DroneUp, he was Senior Vice President of Swimways Corp., the outdoor products division of SpinMaster Ltd., a publicly traded Canadian company. At Swimways, he most recently oversaw product development, product integrity, HR, finance, IT and the company’s operations in China. He holds undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Richmond and a master’s in business administration from the College of William and Mary.

Charles L. Werner, a national leader in public safety, serves as the DroneUp's Chief of Public Safety. In this position, Werner is responsible for ensuring unmanned aerial systems (UAS) public safety is upheld in DroneUp initiatives, including pilot training and certifications, strategic partnerships and best practices. Werner served 37 years in the City of Charlottesville, Va., Fire Department, where he retired as Fire Chief. Among his notable accomplishments while in office, the Department achieved a Class 1 ISO Fire Protection Rating, considered the highest rating for a department. He is a sought-after subject matter expert on FirstNet, communications, interoperability, geographic information systems (GIS), homeland security technology and UAS. With over 100 nationally published articles, he is a contributing editor for Firehouse magazine and contributes regularly to Urgent Communications magazine, sUAS News, Fire Rescue 1 and Domestic Preparedness magazine.

Joe Fuller is former CIO of Dominion Enterprises (formerly Trader Publishing Company). He has 21 years of experience in web development, web hosting and mobile application development. He was responsible for web sites and mobile apps that served 30 million visitors per month. Joe is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot and avid drone enthusiast. Joe is responsible for strategic technical partnerships and the development of DroneUp's web and mobile products. He is also responsible for pilot acquisition and training programs, including the Responsible Community Pilot certification and the Part 107 Prep course.

John Vernon has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry and a wide range of experience including system architecture, software solutions and development, information management, security, and business operations. He has overall responsibility for managing the physical and personnel technology infrastructure including technology deployment, network and system management, integration testing, and developing technical operations personnel. He also manages client relations to ensure that service objective expectations are developed and managed in the operations areas. Prior to joining DroneUp, John was the Vice President and CIO of Knowledge Information Solutions. He was instrumental in the leadership and strategic planning for rolling out new products and services. He embraced many of the “first to market” initiatives which lead to the launch of the Managed Services division, and his knowledge and leadership brought the company its early adopters of managed services. John is a thought leader with a passion for continuous improvement through technology innovation and serves on various technology industry advisory boards, both locally and nationally.
