Job Summary Rivia Mind Psychotherapists provide clinical social work services and psychotherapy to patients through a primarily telehealth environment. Our practice leverages clinical experience and a diverse knowledge base to provide quality care and reliable service. Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind's culture, values, and guiding principles
Service and maintain a weekly average standard of 31 patients across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare
Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in alignment with Rivia Mind's standard productivity expectations.
Follow Care Model practices that emphasize continuity of care, high-frequency follow-up appointments, and effective calendar management.
Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)

Additionally, clinicians are eligible for quarterly bonuses of up to $1,000 (up to $4,000 annually), awarded based on defined metrics related to clinical excellence and care model performance. Pay Type: Salary Employment Status: Full Time Exemption Status: Exempt W-2 Department: Psychotherapy Supervisor: Director of Psychotherapy and Supervisors Supervisees: None Work Schedule We collaborate with each provider to determine a mutually beneficial and sustainable schedule. Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers' preferences. Your schedule will be determined with you before starting the role.
Our operating hours are M-F: 8 am to 6 pm, but we do allow a schedule to have a start as early as 7 am, and end as late as 9 pm M-F, and between 9 am - 5 pm Saturday. All Eastern Time Zone.
Include at least four(4)+ hours within your schedule, which should be after 5 pm on a weekday or have hours on the weekend.
On-call is not required, but checking and responding to time-sensitive emails on unscheduled days is required unless on PTO.
Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week, as a set recurring schedule.
We appreciate the dedication and care our providers bring to their work and the patients they serve. Occasional flexibility may be needed to accommodate patient needs or support the growth of your caseload, such as scheduling initial consultations, managing urgent concerns, coordinating care with the broader team, and completing other responsibilities. Ria Health is a Center of Excellence that delivers a Joint Commission accredited program that leverages evidence-based pharmacotherapy, psychosocial support, and an engaging care delivery platform to help members achieve lasting improvements in their quality of life. Ria's published outcomes data set the standard for effectiveness in alcohol treatment. The Ria program is delivered through telehealth and by a care team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Coaches with clinical expertise to manage care and outcomes for Ria Health members.
WORK AT RIA HEALTH AS A RECOVERY COACH
The role of a Ria Health Recovery Coach is to support Ria members to reduce or eliminate alcohol use through pharmacotherapy, targeted protocols, technology platforms, and coaching tools. Coaches are to provide education on alcohol use and its effects on health, the benefits of using pharmacotherapy, and effective behavioral change. Next is to use various coaching tools based on CBT and MI to provide positive short- and long term health outcomes for members. Last is using various engagement techniques based on empathy, rapport, compassion, nonjudgement, warmth, and positive regard.
All the above is done in a virtual team clinic environment. All coaches are to work interdependently with various team members and departments. Coaches are to use Ria's various technology platforms to monitor members to positive outcomes, collaborate with various team members, develop new coaching tools, problem-solve on retention concerns, and manage member's coaching experiences from beginning to end.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES and ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluation of new members including a standardized intake with a formulation of an individualized care plan
Collaborate with supervising medical staff and interdisciplinary treatment team, to develop and revise member care plans
Facilitate individual coaching through 15-30 minute video/phone calls and app-based communication channels.
Manage a caseload of members and monitor health outcomes, coordination of care, and case management services.
Facilitate various evidence-based interventions to support pharmacotherapy, reduction in alcohol use, and promotion of positive health outcomes.
Demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and promptness during the session, throughout the course of care, and during various technology interfaces with members.
Build relationships with Ria members to ensure high engagement and quality experiences with members
Document sessions into EMR and billing systems
Develop a plan of action for maintaining members and keeping active productivity
Provide coordination of care, case management, and advocacy when needed and throughout a member's time with Ria Health.
Provide coaching services during normal business hours and/or as approved

Assistant/Associate Tenure Track Faculty position for the online Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) is one of seven core faculty lines within the CMHC master's program. The position requires licensure as an LMHC or eligibility for licensure, an earned doctorate in counseling from CACREP accredited program or counseling-related degree, familiarity with CACREP accreditation standards, and clinical experience as a counselor. The successful applicant must have knowledge and skills necessary for curriculum development, instruction, and evaluation at the graduate level. Active participation in professional organizations and ongoing professional development specific to the responsibilities of the position is an expectation.
The Assistant/Associate Professor position will be a tenure track faculty member with all of the rights and responsibilities of other full-time faculty at Grand View University. Applicants should have a strong commitment to the academic success of all of our CMHC Grand View University Graduate students.
Job Responsibilities:
Teach a minimum of 24 credits per year. Additional opportunities for summer teaching are available.
Assist the Program Director with the operation of the M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.
Familiarity with technology to assess student competencies and benchmarks.
Engage in research/scholarly/continuing education activity appropriate to the discipline.
Actively participate in related professional organizations, including ACA but not limited to.
Organize practicum and internship manual, course development, site placements.
Provide updates to the Program Director and Clinical Education Coordinator on student progress, assist with student recruitment activities, student advising, and other faculty responsibilities.
Duties:
The successful candidate is expected to meet the teaching, scholarly and service expectations of a tenure-track faculty member. These include the following:
Teaching a minimum of 24 graduate level Mental Health Counseling hours (eight courses) per year
Successfully engaging with and supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds.
Advising graduate students in the program.
Engaging in research/scholarly activity appropriate to their discipline
Actively supporting the management and administration of the CMHC program, including assisting with department accreditation tasks and course curriculum audits.
Maintaining membership and actively participating in the work of appropriate professional organizations.
Assisting with planning and providing instruction and support for the program's annual residency.
Serve on university committees or teams in support the university's strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from CACREP accredited program. Or, related doctoral degrees will be considered if the applicant has been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013.

Participate in educational opportunities provided by and through HopeLink to stay current on job-related knowledge; a minimum of 5 hours of refresher training post initial 120+-hour training is .

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Respond to crisis contacts in a professional manner following established protocols.
Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of information provided by persons in crisis.

Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.

Teach and assist residents in activities of daily living including self-care habits such as eating, hygiene, etc.
Plan, organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games, painting, drawing, crafts, singing, sports, etc.
Perform household responsibilities to include preparing food for residents, general cleaning, and minor maintenance necessary to keep youth safe.
Assist with teaching social and independent living skills to youth.
Provide coping skills to youth so situations don't reach a high level or risk and cause a crisis.
Verbally de-escalate situations as needed and use approved physical crisis intervention as a last resort to keep residents and staff safe.
Utilize trauma informed treatment approaches in all interactions with youth.

Role Responsibilities:
Provides support to clients living in supportive apartments in 9 various locations within guidelines of each client's goal plan and Incorporates the goal plan into daily interactions with clients.
Teaches community integration skills such as: self -managing medications, managing personal finances, appropriate interpersonal interactions, managing the public transportation system, completing the necessary tasks to maintain a home, accessing community resources, and using and accessing natural supports appropriately.
Models and responds to crises, including de-escalation and motivational interviewing techniques to de-escalate a person's behavior prior to posing an imminent risk of physical harm to self or others.
Provides support to program sites with administrative functions that include charting, cleaning, collaborating with other providers.
Completes charting and notifies the appropriate parties following medical matters.
Interacts informally with clients to facilitate socialization and appropriate behavior, while also maintaining professional boundaries always.
Maintains awareness and knowledge of RTI program changes and development
Ensures documentation and client files are accurate and updated regularly.
Required Qualification and Experience:
High school or GED
Experience working with adults and/or children with mental health illness and/or experience working in fast paced environment and/or in client facing roles
Must pass the required background check and remain eligible to provide services as defined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Must pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure that person has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
Must have access to a reliable vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers' preferences. Your schedule will be determined with you before starting the role.
Our operating hours are M-F: 8 am to 6 pm, but we do allow a schedule to have a start as early as 7 am, and end as late as 9 pm M-F, and between 9 am - 5 pm Saturday. All Eastern Time Zone.
Include at least four(4)+ hours within your schedule, which should be after 5 pm on a weekday or have hours on the weekend.
On-call is not required, but checking and responding to time-sensitive emails on unscheduled days is required unless on PTO.
Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week, as a set recurring schedule.

Occasional flexibility may be needed to accommodate patient needs or support the growth of your caseload, such as scheduling initial consultations, managing urgent concerns, coordinating care with the broader team, and completing other responsibilities. Compensation Determination:

Facilitate creative, educational, and recreational programming to promote personal growth.
