Summary:
The Shuttle Driver serves as the happy, helpful face of the Drury Plaza Lake Buena Vista hotel to guests utilizing our transportation services. Shuttle Drivers provide exceptional service to all guests by transporting them to their destination in a friendly, safe, efficient, courteous and professional manner. Maintains a high standard of integrity, service and hospitality at all times to promote the Drury culture with guests and team members.
Qualifications:
Requires ability to speak and take written and verbal direction in English.
Requires the ability to relate to the public and team members in a warm, friendly manner.
Requires the ability to pay attention to detail.
Must be willing to and have the ability to work alone as scheduled.
Expected to keep accurate, legible, and complete timesheets and expense reports on a biweekly basis.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Experience in working with the public in a service industry or in related activities is preferred.
Adheres to the hotel's uniform policy as instructed.
Required Department of Transportation Compliance:
The Shuttle Driver is required to follow all the regulations set up by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to include but not exclusive of:
Requires Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Maintains compliance with the Federal Hands-free Driving Regulation.
Maintains Drivers E-Logs according to I.C.C./FMCSA regulations.
Completes a Bi-Annual DOT Physical.
Maintains a current CDL license with passenger endorsement.
Applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations while transporting guests in a safe, courteous and professional manner.

BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:
Under general supervision, assists management team with supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, bar and room services as well as assisting in banquet operation. Maintains established quality, service, standards, maximizing revenues and profits. Maintains exceptional +1 Service levels through guest and team member. Ensures Drury Hotels' policies and procedures are consistently communicated and followed at all times. Maintains a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times with team members, customer and co-workers.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Requires ability to give and take written and oral direction. Requires the ability to communicate clearly in English to relate to guests and team members.
