Summary:
The Senior Manager, Security Assurance will be responsible for all initiatives directed at building trust and confidence in Druva's data security, privacy, and compliance posture. Additionally, they will lead Druva's Third-Party Risk Management program and drive execution and improvement in our security culture improvement initiatives around phishing and security awareness.
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least 12 years of experience in a technology discipline, preferably 8+ years in the cyber security domain
* Background in or strong understanding of security compliance and Privacy frameworks (SOC 2, ISO27001, HIPAA, CSA STAR, NIST)
* Demonstrable knowledge of OWASP Top-10 Web Application Vulnerabilities and related risks and countermeasures
* Working protocol level understanding of At-Rest and In-Motion Encryption fundamentals (TLS/SSL, BCrypt, PKI, SHA1, AES etc)
* Knowledge of AWS and security controls native to AWS
* Technical Understanding of SaaS Multi-tenant architectures
* Ability to threat model and assess security risk of interconnected systems and data flows
* Proven experience collaborating with sales and engineering teams
* Demonstrable customer communication experience around security matters
* Experience implementing or using any TPRM tools or platforms (for e.g. KY3P, ProcessUnity, ServiceNow, CyberGRX etc)
* Knowledge of technical domains such as network security, cloud security & application security
* Exceptional communication skills, critical thinking ability and strong bias for ownership & learning
* Experience leading teams, building and monitoring cross-functional scaled-up processes to achieve business objectives
Responsibilities:
* Own and drive the processes to provide expert internal support for security and compliance due diligence requests
* Work and co-ordinate with internal security teams (Cyber Defense, Product Security, Compliance), Engineering functions and customer account teams to provide timely and high-quality responses to security queries from prospects and customers
* Manage incoming security support requests including security focused questionnaires, customer audits, and client-driven penetration tests as needed
* Develop and maintain customer facing security policies and documentation and manage the Druva's online trust portal
* Ensure customer security documentation and external artifacts are up to date and accurate as per current state security policies
* Evaluate and set the strategy for Druva's third-party risk management program
* Conduct holistic security assessments of Druva's existing & new vendors to identify and mitigate potential risks.
* Stay informed about current security vulnerabilities, incidents and assess exposure through Druva's vendor landscape
* Own and drive risk-reduction in Druva's External attack surface
* Develop and execute on improvement strategy for phishing simulations and security training of our employees
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $187,000 and $262,333/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Securities Law & Disclosure:

About the Role:

COMPENSATION:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. Our Accounting team is looking for a Senior G/L Accountant to join our growing team in Mountain View, CA. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and detail-oriented, and works well in a team environment.
This role is responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations, as well as monthly financial statements, financial audit preparation, accounting memos, and worldwide consolidation. The selected candidate will work independently with little supervision, demonstrating a high level of efficiency and accuracy. Since Egnyte is a fast-paced environment, the role requires someone who is adaptable and able to prioritize their workload. This position is a key contributor to a dynamic business environment and provides the opportunity to strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical accounting processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Period-end close activities, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis, as well as other duties in accordance with the company timelines and schedule
* Manage the accurate and timely month-end procedures for high level key balance sheet and income statement accounts including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations
* Drive process establishment or improvement and system implementation for financial processes
* Collaborate cross-functionally with various organizations within the company by providing financial insights and relevant analysis / reporting
* Research technical accounting rules and regulations, provide and implement recommendations on accounting issues
* Serve as a key contributor for the auditors and facilitate various audit requests
* Create and implement high level accounting policies, procedures and controls
* Support management in dynamic projects in a fast-growing company
* Work on-site in the Mountain View office at least three days per week
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
* 5+ years of progressive work experience
* Big four public accounting experience or CPA preferred
* ASC 842 experience preferred
* Self-motivated and a problem solver with a "can-do" mentality and a strong desire to drive changes
* A team player mentality and the ability to work independently
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the capability of manipulating, analyzing, and reporting large sets of data

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting to join our team as a critical interim resource as a fixed term contractor. This position will play a pivotal role in managing our Private Equity Management Incentive Plan (MIP), driving technical accounting conclusions, and leading ad hoc financial projects.
The ideal candidate has a proactive approach to problem-solving, possesses a strong background in US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment. This is a high-profile, hands-on role that requires the ability to work independently and interface effectively across all levels of the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Equity & MIP Management: Lead the accounting and administration of the Private Equity Management Incentive Plan (MIP). This includes overseeing equity accounting, tracking vesting conditions, and managing calculations for stock-based compensation expense (ASC 718).
* Technical Accounting & Research: Research and document the Company's technical accounting issues. Prepare high-quality technical accounting memos on complex transactions (including debt, equity, and M&A) to support management conclusions and audit requirements.
* Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of the monthly close and the Company's private company financial statements.
* Audit Coordination: Present and resolve the Company's positions for critical accounting issues with external auditors. Coordinate the review of filings with auditors, inside/outside legal counsel, and the disclosure committee.
* Policy & Compliance: Assess and implement new or changes to US GAAP. Draft and update Corporate Accounting Policies as needed throughout the engagement.
* Ad Hoc Projects: Lead special projects as assigned by leadership, which may include system implementations, process improvements to align controls with business risks, and support for strategic initiatives.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education & Experience: B.S./B.A. degree in Finance or Accounting. Minimum of 7-10 years of total experience, with at least 3-4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience required.
* Certification: CPA highly preferred.
* Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting background with expert knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
* PE/Equity Experience: Specific experience managing Equity/MIP programs for Private Equity-backed companies is a significant plus.
* Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. A proactive approach to problem identification and remediation.
* Work Style: Ability to work flexibly and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Must be meticulous with superior attention to detail and capable of working independently to complete work in a timely manner.
* Work Location: Work from our Mountain View, CA office, hybrid role with 3 days a week in office.
