Responsibilities Duties: Install track and studs from 14 to 20 gauge Able to use laser levels Able to use fast-track and power actuated tools Able to measure cuts for drywall Ability to read specs for proper drywall placement Ability to pull wall measurements Ability to plan work and be prepared with proper tools Additional Responsibilities: Assist in the training/orientation of employees when needed Assist in the employment processes as requested Promote teamwork and positive communication among employees Attend and participate in miscellaneous site meetings, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas when needed Skills and Abilities: Work rapidly and accurately with hands Ability to accurately read drawings Calculate how much material is needed Follow set procedures and standards Picture objects from drawings or diagrams Rate information using standards that can be measured or checked Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy Effectively communicate verbally with co-workers Effectively manage one's time and deal with problems that arise Effectively work with other employees in a positive manner Willingness and ability to gain knowledge or and consistently practice basic Safety And Health Regulations Able to attend to job duties on a consistent, timely basis Qualifications Education and Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience working with drywall on commercial (non-residential) jobs. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Additional Requirements: Pass a pre-employment drug test Have reliable transportation Working Conditions: Work is often performed outside under any type of weather conditions. Exposure to varying degrees/amounts of heat, cold, dust, dampness, ice, precipitation and mud. Physical Demands: Must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects and materials; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively to meet the physical demands of our industry.
