BASIC FUNCTION As a Retail Store Associate at Goodwill, you play a vital role in helping transform lives through the power of work. You will support the mission by collecting, processing, and selling donated goods to customers at our retail stores and donation centers. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in quality work, enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and want to be part of something bigger than just a job, making a real difference in the community every day. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Floor Responsibilities · Serve as a role model and instructor in the subject of “work” for individuals receiving training or job placement assistance through Goodwill. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and passion for quality. · Greet and assist customers with merchandise selection. · Operate the store's cash register in compliance with company policies and procedures. · Close out assigned cash drawer at the end of the shift and balance cash amounts. · Ensure excellent customer service and direct complaints to the appropriate personnel. · Rotate merchandise from the sales floor as instructed, accurately recording rotation numbers. · Assist in display setup and merchandise presentation on the sales floor. · Maintain store cleanliness and organization according to company standards. · Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures. · Cross-train in other workstations as needed. · Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Production Responsibilities · Be an instructor in the subject of “work” for individuals participating in Goodwill training or job placement programs, leading by example through a positive attitude and strong work ethic. · Greet and assist donors, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. · Pre-sort donations into appropriate categories and workstations. · Assess the quality of merchandise and prepare acceptable items for the sales floor. · Remove and dispose of unsellable items according to company procedures. · Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donation trailers. · Accurately record production and rotation numbers. · Maintain safety standards and ensure a secure working environment. · Provide excellent donor relations and escalate concerns to the appropriate personnel. · Rotate merchandise from the sales floor as required. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with company standards. · Cross-train in other workstations as needed. · Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. We are seeking a dedicated and organized team member. The ideal candidate will assist with clinical and program operations, including conducting assessments, helping develop treatment plans, and administering approved tools such as the AAPI-2. This role will also facilitate or assist with group sessions for parents and children, provide child care support. Therapeutic Child Care (TCC) is not a day care. Rather TCC is a system of therapeutic behavioral care designed to support the children of substance abusing women who are in treatment. Many though not all of these children often suffer from the traumas of sexual abuse, violent child abuse, non-nurturing deprived environments, physical neglect, post-traumatic stress, lack of proper nutrition, unattended medical needs, lack of support for their academic experience, developmental risk issues, fear, anger, embarrassment, low self-esteem among other potential issues as a result of living in the substance abusing environment. TCC is expected to provide a nurturing environment for these children and their mother that addresses and assists families in taking steps toward resolving behavioral issues from a therapeutic perspective. TCC offers a healing atmosphere where various traumatic issues can surface, be addressed and move toward resolution, resulting in healthier behavioral and relational patterns for the children and their families. The environment of TCC should provide nurturing, therapeutic, constructive and pro-active approaches rather than punitive reactions to behavior. Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Child Care Lead: Conduct or assist with assessments Develop or assist in developing treatment plans Administer or assist with administering AAPI-2/or other approved assessment tools Facilitate or assist with groups for parents and/or children Act as liaison to other agencies involved with children in TCC services Assist with child care In the absence of the TCC Program Director/Coordinator the TCC lead staff will be in charge and will ensure all policies and procedures are met and in compliance with DBHDD. Assists TCC Program Director with any tasks when asked or given instructions Will be responsible for organizing and making sure all community and monthly events take place. LOCATION: Dublin, Georgia The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia's adult outpatient program is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Therapeutic Child Care Lead. We are seeking a dedicated and organized team member. The ideal candidate will assist with clinical and program operations, including conducting assessments, helping develop treatment plans, and administering approved tools such as the AAPI-2. This role will also facilitate or assist with group sessions for parents and children, provide child care support. Therapeutic Child Care (TCC) is not a day care. Rather TCC is a system of therapeutic behavioral care designed to support the children of substance abusing women who are in treatment. Many though not all of these children often suffer from the traumas of sexual abuse, violent child abuse, non-nurturing deprived environments, physical neglect, post-traumatic stress, lack of proper nutrition, unattended medical needs, lack of support for their academic experience, developmental risk issues, fear, anger, embarrassment, low self-esteem among other potential issues as a result of living in the substance abusing environment. TCC is expected to provide a nurturing environment for these children and their mother that addresses and assists families in taking steps toward resolving behavioral issues from a therapeutic perspective. TCC offers a healing atmosphere where various traumatic issues can surface, be addressed and move toward resolution, resulting in healthier behavioral and relational patterns for the children and their families. The environment of TCC should provide nurturing, therapeutic, constructive and pro-active approaches rather than punitive reactions to behavior. Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Child Care Lead: Conduct or assist with assessments Develop or assist in developing treatment plans Administer or assist with administering AAPI-2/or other approved assessment tools Facilitate or assist with groups for parents and/or children Act as liaison to other agencies involved with children in TCC services Assist with child care In the absence of the TCC Program Director/Coordinator the TCC lead staff will be in charge and will ensure all policies and procedures are met and in compliance with DBHDD. Assists TCC Program Director with any tasks when asked or given instructions Will be responsible for organizing and making sure all community and monthly events take place. Assists TCC Program Director with administrative tasks. Attend all meetings, quarterly and TCC trainings.
