Your Key Responsibilities
- Typical projects or design tasks may include the design of sanitary, storm, and watermain projects and overland flow / civil site plan design projects. Manages project technical tasks including completing design work, calculations, writing specifications and technical reports on a wide range of civil infrastructure projects generally involving sanitary & storm sewer and watermain design, pump stations, stormwater management/drainage plans.
- Coordinates design and report deliverable packages for submission to clients and/or approval authorities.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and attend meetings with the client, team members and sub-consultants.

- Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.

* Develop and maintain team construction observation standards
* Develop staffing plans and schedules to meet workload requirements, delivering quality service in compliance with client requirements and expectations

Project Responsibilities
* Perform construction phase administrator tasks such as:
* Review work identified in the project drawings and specifications
* Manage quality control of construction services
* Manage bid phase activities
* Manage submittal reviews
* Review contractor payment applications and prepare change orders
* Perform constructability and bid-ability revisions
* Prepare documents for execution
* Conduct preconstruction and biweekly meetings
* Manage project closeout activities
Business Development Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with clients, including former clients and municipalities' region-wide.
* Perform networking activities.
* Prepare agreements for construction phase services including determination of labor and reimbursable expense cost; Including fee development and negotiation of fees.
* Prepare proposals in response to RFP's for construction phase services
* Contact and market construction phase services to communities, private enterprises, state and federal agencies.
* Maintain and/or improve procedures/protocol for managing the construction services department.
Minimum Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience managing construction projects
* Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred, but not required
* Experience with public and private sector clients
* Experience leading and managing a team
* Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
* Strong writing and verbal skills
Compensation Range:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
