Mike is Duck Creek’s chief executive officer and also serves on the Board of Directors. He brings more than 25 years of technology, operations, and insurance-industry expertise to this global leadership role, in which he’s responsible for the company’s strategic direction and overall performance.

As CEO, Mike shares his passion for the possible by aligning company goals and industry experts to deliver the solutions that drive business value for insurers worldwide.

Prior to Duck Creek, Mike held several leadership roles at Allstate. He was senior vice president for the agency technology and sales business units, where he was responsible for strategic management and operations. He also led the business through a technology transformation that improved interactions and communications between the carrier’s employees, agents, and customers. He joined Allstate as the senior vice president of technology and operations, where he was credited for reinventing the insurer’s claims operations through modern technology and governance, a project that impacted 17,000 employees and involved 1,000 resources on three continents. This “Next Gen” claims initiative, which he spearheaded, was honored in 2008 with two illustrious industry recognitions: “Premier 100 IT Leaders,” by Computerworld magazine, and the Pink Elephant’s Information Technology Infrastructure Library Project of the Year award.

Before joining Allstate, Mike was a managing partner for Accenture’s global claims and underwriting practice in the financial services group. In this role, he was responsible for Accenture’s overall claims and underwriting product strategy and direction, which included creating the company’s pioneering software solution, Accenture Claim Components, now Duck Creek Claims.

As the company’s chief product and technology officer, Andy is responsible for leading Duck Creek’s product, engineering, and SaaS operations teams, with a strategic focus on cutting-edge technologies and customer-centricity.

He has spent more than 20 years in information technology, most recently as Chief Technology Officer at Vertafore, where he led the development of one of the industry’s leading agency management solutions. Prior, Andy was Global Head & Chief Business Officer of EdgeVerve, a subsidiary of Infosys, where he delivered solutions around automation and modernizing core banking systems. He has also held leadership roles in the SaaS transformation of Concur’s travel & expense management solutions; for SAP HANA, SAP’s modern cloud-based In-Memory platform; and at SAP Labs, where he led customer-driven innovation and managed the company’s India R&D Center.

As an software industry veteran with a proven track record of success in driving growth through SaaS/cloud initiatives, Andy will accelerate the transformation journey of Duck Creek’s product portfolio to continue driving the P&C insurance market’s shift from legacy systems to future-ready SaaS solutions.

Eugene Biert is a Chief Revenue Officer at Duck Creek Technologies.

Matt is the Chief Operating Officer for Duck Creek Technologies. He brings more than 25 years of the insurance industry and technology experience to this global leadership role that is responsible for successful customer outcomes.

As COO, Matt is responsible for all of Duck Creek’s field operations, which encompasses the global customer experience through a full spectrum of customer account management activities. This experience ranges from customer expectation management, solution architecture & project proposals, implementation projects, SaaS provisioning, go-lives, and production servicing & support.

In previous executive roles, Matt was responsible for all day-to-day company operations, all new business development, and M&A activity that included Accenture’s acquisition of Duck Creek Technologies in 2011 and the joint-venture between Apax Partners and Accenture that resulted in the emergence of Duck Creek Technologies as an independent company in 2016.

Matt has deep roots in technology and is passionate about bringing innovative capabilities to the insurance market. In the formative years of the company’s technology solutions, Matt was chief technology officer for the Accenture P&C software group with responsibility for overall technology, architecture, and software blueprints for all P&C software products and a principal contributor to the original Claim Components software, now Duck Creek Claims.

Shon is Duck Creek’s chief customer and delivery officer. He manages the professional services and customer account management groups, which consist of more than 600 employees in eight business locations around the globe. He’s responsible for improving customer experiences and satisfaction and orchestrating implementation services across the range of client interactions, integrations, and implementations of Duck Creek’s insurance technologies and solutions

Previously he was responsible for the delivery, transformation, and quality assurance of Accenture’s financial services assets globally. This included ensuring the high quality for all of Accenture’s insurance and banking assets, coaching client delivery teams who used these assets to adhere to practices that minimized delivery risk, and transforming all delivery centers that built and maintained these assets to a minimum certification of CMMI level 3. The centers were located in cities around the globe, namely, Germany, India, Philippines, Spain and the USA.

Shon has more than 30 years of experience in large-scale systems delivery, solution architecture, and software development for Accenture, Accenture Duck Creek, and now Duck Creek Technologies. His mandate is to collaborate with Duck Creek’s customers and Global Alliance delivery partners to ensure the right project team is assembled to achieve a successful implementation.

Chris joined Agencyport in May 2012 and is responsible for legal, corporate, human resources, IT and administrative functions. Most recently, Chris served as Counsel to IBM in the Business Analytics Division of IBM Software Group. Prior to that, he served as Deputy General Counsel to Cognos, Inc., a publicly-held business intelligence and performance management software company acquired by IBM in January 2008. Chris was also in private practice at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, corporate governance and commercial transactions. He graduated from Boston College Law School and received his bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross.

Jeff Wargin is a Chief Product Officer at Duck Creek Technologies.

As chief financial officer, Vincent is responsible for the financial management, accounting, tax, treasury, facilities and corporate development functions at Duck Creek.

He previously was managing director and CFO of Interactive Data Corp., a provider of financial market data to major financial institutions worldwide. At IDC, Vinny was responsible for the financial management, accounting, tax, treasury, facilities and corporate development function of the business. His most significant accomplishment was leading the organization through the successful sale to Intercontinental Exchange for $5.2 billion, following a dual-track IPO/sale process.

Vinny has led financial teams at both private and public companies, completed more than 30 M&A transactions, and held additional positions in general management and corporate strategy. His previous positions include serving as CFO of two private-equity backed pre-IPO technology businesses, FleetMatics Group and NameMedia, Inc., chief strategy officer of Thomson Healthcare, and executive VP and CFO of Information Holdings Inc.

Bill is the Chief Technology Officer for Duck Creek Technologies. In this role, Bill is accountable for the overall technical strategy and direction of the Duck Creek products. His role includes responsibility for the global product development of all Duck Creek software as well as the ongoing production operations of the Duck Creek On-Demand (SaaS) products.

Bill has worked as Technical Architect and Software Engineer in service to Financial Services clients for over twenty years. He has spent the last eighteen years focused on building software and technical solutions for global P&C insurance carriers of all sizes. At Duck Creek Technologies, Bill specializes in the development of Policy, Claims and Billing core systems software and the digital products that make up the end to end solution for these carriers.

Prior to his current role, Bill lead the engineering and development of the Duck Creek Claims product and served as the lead technical architect in the implementation of a number of large scale P&C Claims transformations.

Courtney Townsend is responsible for developing and executing Duck Creek’s overall human resources strategy and plan, including culture development, inclusion and diversity, succession planning, talent management, change management, and organizational and performance management. With more than 15 years in human resources, Townsend has extensive knowledge of the field and brings many strengths to Duck Creek Technologies, including strategic planning, organizational design, culture development, and internal and external engagement. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Stats Perform, a sports technology company, where she managed overall leadership and direction for their global human resources function and served as a trusted advisor and coach to the CEO and executive leadership team. Prior to that, Townsend held key positions supporting human resources objectives at Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information, software solutions, and services for a variety of sectors. Townsend is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business with a focus on human resource management.
