Job Summary
* Under the direction of Internal Audit management, lead the planning, testing and reporting for various operational audits in accordance with professional and department standards.
* Perform testing of certain company key controls over financial reporting for SOX 404 requirements.
* Participate in ad-hoc projects as requested by management.

Competent in using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators.
Perform visual and dimensional inspection.
Perform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections (per AS9102)
Perform inspections to visual and cosmetic standards.
Write inspection reports and nonconformance reports.
Understand root cause and participate in corrective actions.
Perform review of supplier certifications for conformance to requirements
Data collection for statistical analysis
Understand and be able to interpret tolerances.
Understand application and use of all types of precision measuring instruments used in mechanical inspection, including interpretations of geometrical and positional tolerance requirements.
Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS environment.
Previous experience working with an ERP or MRP
Must have a clear understanding of document types that are impacted by Configuration Control Changes, e.g.,
Drawings & Specifications, Procedures and Work Instructions
Required Experience and Education
5 - 10 years experience in an inspector role
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills: Microsoft application - Word, Excel, Power Point
