Qualifications
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Develop a comprehensive safety education program through the use of programs, bulletins, posters, lectures, and films.
Coordinate with leadership to develop safety documentation for specific work areas or tasks and develop specific requirements to ensure safety when performing special or unusual tasks.
Develop and coordinate safety indoctrination training for all new employees.
Investigate mishaps/accidents when needed.
Prepare and distribute reports for accidents/incidents that involve personnel, vehicles, government equipment, or Government facilities.

Work Conditions:
Work is mostly performed in an environmentally controlled office environment but occasional field work would expose you to the environment.

Education/Experience/Skills
Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with at least five (5) years of experience as a Quality Manager on a Government contract or equivalent years of experience as a direct government employee or as a contractor supporting government contracts.
Must have detailed knowledge of the desert environment and associated CBRNE test site hazards.
Must have experience in government contracts to include general contract quality management experience in safety, training and property management.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.

Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties
Under technical supply management and supervision, performs aspects of work within the functional areas of inventory management, material coordination and cataloging for a specific work unit.
Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:
Performs requirements determinations and usage forecasting
Performs material coordination/expediting for specialized functions/groups/shops
Maintains stock records to include items issued, inventories and related reports
Writes item descriptions for new items entering the supply channels

Working Conditions
This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, regular lifting up to 50 lbs. (anything heavier requires two or more people or mechanical assistance). This position requires regular travel to local and remote range sites and HAFB. Outdoor duties required with exposure to all elements of weather which can be extreme in nature / temperature. Government vehicle is used daily. Working surfaces may be coated in elements and be uneven on improved and unimproved roads. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work duty days more than eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. This position will require travel.

Job Description:
The Program Manager shall be overall responsible for the performance of the work. The PM must be available during DPG normal duty hours, except for federal holidays or when the government facility is closed per installation commander. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.
Travel:
Will be required to travel 25% of the time, as needed to support this position. Extended travel requirements to locations within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) locations.

At Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), southwest of Salt Lake City Utah, SA-TECH supports the West Desert Test Center (WDTC), the nation's designated Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) for chemical and biological defense. The WDTC plans, conducts, evaluates, reports, and supports Chemical and Biological (CB) and non-CB testing efforts for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, private industries, and foreign Governments (e.g., environmental assessment/impact evaluations, weapons and munitions demilitarization, chemical energetics/homemade explosive testing, unmanned systems testing, direct and indirect fire weapons testing, hazard assessments, and technical/logistical support of operations at DPG).
At DPG, SA-TECH is looking to hire a Senior Electronic Technician onto our team to support program efforts and contribute to success at this major DoD Test Facility.
Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
Calibrate, operate, maintain, and repair electronic test equipment/instrumentation on various control circuitry, including flow control and monitoring equipment, temperature, and monitoring control circuitry.
Exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses of existing systems and making system calculations to determine proper design changes.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Assess complex test instruments and techniques relating to test fixtures, control systems, and data acquisition systems in support of chamber testing.
Must be able to troubleshoot data acquisition software.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Work is mostly performed in an indoor industrial setting but field work outdoors under changing weather conditions may be required depending on the location of equipment.
Will be working with electricity; must be familiar with safety processes, procedures and concerns in relation to working with electricity.
May be required to lift and handle heavy items (30 lbs.).
Stand/walk, climb, stoop, bend and push and pull for extended periods of time.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear.
Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills
High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledgeable and well-trained in electronics with at least three (3) years' experience in the calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of electronic test equipment/instrumentation on various control circuitry, including flow control and monitoring equipment, temperature, and monitoring control circuitry.
