The successful business process & solutions analyst will play a pivotal role in owning the Financial Contract Accounting (FICA) processes for AES Indiana and leading the execution and deployment of customer system changes by partnering directly with our local and global digital teams, business stakeholders, and strategic partners to ensure our vision is translated to customer outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts from meter-to-cash operations as a business process and solutions analyst for PIPP within the AES Indiana Customer Systems team. The Customer Systems team is responsible for implementing strategic and regulatory initiatives in coordination with the digital product owners, collaborating with leadership and other stakeholders to develop the business' prioritization roadmap for utility transformation initiatives, managing and seeking improvements to business processes across all key functional areas, and engaging the business to ensure adoption or awareness of changes. You will have an important role by acting as a liaison between business end users and the digital support team in defining the business requirements and specifications of the SAP solution through functional design and end-to-end testing. You will be responsible for ensuring production support incidents and change requests are triaged and prioritized appropriately, delivered on time and tested effectively to ensure all business requirements have been met before deployment. The Dispatcher Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and dispatching daily workload for field technicians and contractors, ensuring route accuracy and appropriate dissemination of work for Peoples Gas System Operations. Meets work deadlines with regards to daily tracking and work shifting of field technicians to meet customer appointments and high priority work. Investigate and recommend timely resolutions of customers concerns by collaborating with Operations to provide excellent customer service. Maintains customer Gas Service Agreements and New Construction move-ins within SAP and Work and Asset Management (WAM) Business System. Attentive coverage of the gas dispatch hotline to provide support to Customer Experience Departments and field technicians. Manages safe and rapid emergency work order response. Interface regularly with the Scheduler-Coordinator to aid in creating short-term work plans. Will perform additional duties and responsibilities and assist other personnel as needed. Principal Duties And Responsibilities The Senior FP&A Analyst's duties will include the following (other duties may be assigned): Prepare portions of the Company's annual budget and monthly forecast process by owning G&A and other business sections. Be responsible for collaborating across the organization to develop and vet sound business assumptions. Investigate, explain, and present budget to actual variances to senior leadership. Assist in preparing and reviewing various items in the Company's monthly investor reporting packages, including budget versus actual reports and explain variances to management. Coordination and preparation of various budgeting and forecasting presentations. Contribute to periodic and ad-hoc initiatives of the FP&A department. Desired Skills And Expertise 3+ years' experience in preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and related reporting. Experience with SAP or Anaplan or BPC experience or Adaptive Planning or a similar planning tool. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including experience with financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows. Renewable energy experience preferred, but not . Ability to work optimally with accounting systems. Experience preparing and reviewing complex models in Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Fluent in English.
