Pros - just about everything except continuous "restructuring" and potential job loss. Cons - count on a restructuring at least once a year in your department and potential job loss.

Newly built 2022 innovative building not finished. Not many things I don’t like about the company. Work culture great, great pay, benefits, projects and management. Room to grow is big to me and I see myself doing great things for the company.
Reputation. I love knowing I’m doing the best work and most quality work for a well respected company my in area. All the leading projects from drones to renewable energy initiatives that make working everyday well worth it.

The swing shifts, which requires us changing from days to nights with not enough time to recover.

Nothing. The only reason I stayed was because I could not find another job near the area I lived.
Endless issues - the management is abysmal, tone deaf and make awful decisions daily. All they care about are their golden parachutes and giving themselves outrageous bonuses and raises. They don't care about the worker-bee employees, humiliating and harassing us non-stop and constantly cutting any perks & benefits while keeping our salaries low. And it's not a safe place to work.
Get a reliable paycheck, that is all.

I worked day shift in food service. I usually worked the day shift when I worked at the Bad Creek project. I would not like working any night shift jobs I would like to work to supplement my income.
I like working with the public in a friendly work place. I like meeting new people working a few days a week would keep me busy.

People are friendly, respectful and considerate. I've been with Duke over 17 years and I have really enjoyed the time I've been there. Pay is pretty good too.
Since I work in the Call Center, we do have to work long hours due to storms, but those don't happen all the time.
Insurance is awesome and I used to work for a large insurance company and I don't think theirs was as good.
The pay was excellent. The hours sometimes were very long during outages. Some of the people were good to work for and other's were hard to get along with.
The pressure to maintain quality work in very hot and humid environments was very limiting. Also having to be dressed out for radiation protection was taxing in these environment.
