Duke School company history timeline
The Duke Lemur Center, founded in 1966, houses the largest colony of endangered primates with more than 200 lemurs, bush babies, and lorises.
Eleven years after Duke University chartered the Graduate School of Business in 1969, it was named The Fuqua School of Business with a gift from J.B. Fuqua in gratitude for that early relationship.
At the time of their discovery in 1972, Richardson and Lee were senior researchers in the low-temperature laboratory at Cornell and were investigating the properties of the isotope helium-3.
In 2005, Duke partnered with the National University of Singapore and opened the Duke-NUS Medical School.
