JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · * Responsible for loading the equipment (Hopper) with raw products to start production safety by using correct lifting techniques. * Ensures the product flow at an optimal level at all times. * Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained. * Report to Machine Operator or Supervisor or QA/QC Technician any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety * Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures and follow all company guidelines. * Effectively communicating relevant information to fellow employees on the shift and to on-coming employees at shift change. * Must be able to stack pallets and load box feeder. * Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the area including understanding the different types of cleanings based on the production run. * Other related tasks during production operation as assigned by Supervisor, including packing when assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred) * High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience Experience: * Experience in a manufacturing Production environment preferred but not required System Implementation Preferred Knowledge: * Understands Safety guidelines * Knowledge of applicable production management system (prod) Skills/ Abilities: * Able to work in an environment containing Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Soy, Wheat, and Milk * Detail-oriented, good organizational skills * Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors including verbal and written instructions. * Ability to operating powered equipment * Dependable, responsible team player; good attendance * Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of production for a more global understanding of all processes. * Perform repetitive motions throughout shift such as push/pull/lift, bend continuously throughout the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift. * Ability to stand for a long period of time (duration of the shift (8 hours +).
