Assist with maintaining back stock levels. Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area. Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise. Assist with merchandise resets through the store. Provide assistance to Department Specialists, i.e. price changes, special orders. Ensure signage is current throughout the store. Operate forklift with proper training. Communicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up. Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to General Manager. Participate in store meetings. Be professional in appearance and actions. Perform all other duties as assigned. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operations while adhering to environmental, health, safety, and quality standards. Operators play a key role in maintaining production schedules, troubleshooting process deviations, and supporting continuous improvement in plant operations. To be successful, you must work well with management and co-workers on operational issues at the facility. A skilled Operator will ensure the efficient running of the plant's equipment and will be able to identify and rectify issues with speed and efficiency. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and monitor chemical production equipment such as reactor tanks, distillation columns, pumps, compressors, and filtration systems. Adjust process variables (temperature, pressure, flow rates, levels) to maintain optimal conditions and product specifications. Perform regular inspections of plant systems to identify and resolve issues or escalate to maintenance/engineering teams. Start up, shut down, and clean process equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols. Accurately record operating data, process changes, and shift reports. Collect in-process samples and collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure product compliance. Handle and transfer raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using proper procedures. Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations following plant safety and emergency response protocols. Support preventive maintenance activities and assist with equipment troubleshooting. Work as part of a team to maintain 24/7 operations. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree and/or technical certifications preferred. 1-2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing facility/production environment/plant operations is highly preferred. Some exposure or experience working with chemicals is a plus, but can be trained for the right person. Knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and safety standards (OSHA, PSM, environmental compliance). Ability to read and interpret SOPs, batch sheets, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Mechanical aptitude with exposure to vacuum pumps, valves, control panels, and instrumentation. Advanced communication skills and ability to work effectively on a shift team. Willingness to work 4 day work week (10-12 hrs./day).
