Good, straightforward job. If you want to work, you make money. You can tell it's a family company. The boss is in the shop a lot, even on weekends. He always knows what's going on with the jobs. During holidays you can make good money. Last year the family came by to have lunch on break. Never seen a baby in a shop before until working at Dunn Heat over Christmas. The kind of place you want to stay at
Sometimes the work is slow so there aren't as many hours to pick up. When I first got here, there was a lot of old-dog attitude like "this is the way it's always been done", but it's gotten much better.
Flexible with shift work on how many hours you want to pick up. You see people getting promoted. Boss is easy to talk to.
Experienced foreman who take time to teach new things and not just yell.

Small family company feeing, with security of big company. Owners are very active and know most employees by name. Safety lunches and safety bonus program is ok. Pay is above average with double time on Sundays. If full time, they always pay 40hrs.
Overtime is feast or famine, work driven by turnaround seasons.
