Position Summary:
To investigate customer driven complaints, applying expert knowledge of policies and regulations, and delivering clear, accurate reports and resolutions that strengthen trust and improve the customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to research, investigate and resolve PUC complaints. Prepares clear well written reports. Testifies as needed at administrative hearings.
Formulates and advocates the Company position and negotiates settlements with our customers.

Duties:
Under general supervision, performs design and field work on projects related to providing service to customers from the distribution system, the development, rehabilitation, or alteration of the distribution system (including overhead and underground facilities), third party attachments including DLC owned telecom outside of substation fence, the rehabilitation of the subtransmission system (including overhead and underground facilities) and, when assigned, providing service to customers from the subtransmission system.
Distribution Technician (Step 7) Duties:
Perform design and field work in the development, rehabilitation, or alteration of all overhead and simple underground distribution facilities, primarily associated with alteration to existing circuits, including circuit extensions to provide service to new customers. Overhead jobs will typically be limited to 5 poles. Duties typically include:
Adding OH transformer, split secondary bank
Designing new OH distribution/service
Simple service, OH or UG from pole in OH area
Upgrading OH transformers
Completing cover up jobs
Replacing like for like Overhead equipment. i.e. Intellirupter replacement work.
Installing new manually operated, non-automated switches*
Terminal pole to three-phase** and single-phase* pad mounted transformer installations
Underground Residential Developments (URDs) with five (5) sites or less*
*This duty will be added after one (1) year completed at step 7

Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, estimates, construction authorities, permit requests and similar items associated with the assigned projects while creating or modifying records and submitting information in the designated document management system (DMS), Maximo, NJUNS and/or Joint Use/TPA application.
Use desktop and mobile computers with designated software to prepare design and construction drawings of overhead and underground distribution and subtransmission facilities, and third party attachments. Uses GIS/GPS portal and other technology to create or modify Company assets and attachments, including DLC owned Telecom outside of substation fence, as well as third party attachments. Submits map changes and data layers to reflect additions, retirements, replacements and other changes affecting the physical property of the Company, DLC Telecom outside of substation fence, and third party attachments.
Make field trips, as required, to inspect the overhead and simple underground facilities, taking into account physical surroundings for the purpose of determining the project design. Also, obtains any necessary information and measurements necessary to ensure the design meets all applicable codes and standards.
Coordinates projects to ensure timely completion of the design phase. Provides customers with one point of contact and meets with customers, including customer representatives, municipal representatives and utility representatives, as required, to field jobs, provide customers with service locations, quote flat rate fee costs, quote post-design system generated costs for Step 7 related work (presently Maximo), and collect fees. As a Transport Driver you will drive a tanker truck (11,400 gallon capacity) to pick up propane at the supply point (e.g. refinery, pipeline terminal, storage facility) and deliver it to area AmeriGas facilities. The driver will make four to five pick-ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day. Approximately 80 percent of the driver's time is spent driving or waiting in line at the supply point. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery and deliver to area AmeriGas facilities; approximately 45 minutes is required to load or unload the truck.
Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker
Use permanent hoses attached to the filling ports or the hoses stored in the truck to unload the tanker. The hoses stored on the truck come in two sizes: 20 feet long, three inches in diameter; and 19 feet long, 1½ inches in diameter
Perform twice-daily truck inspections
May climb ladders at some AmeriGas facilities to check gauges at the top of the bulk tanks.

Position Summary:
The Rates Analyst III role is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting information on technical, demographic, and financial data concerning the Company. Assist with the preparation of the Company's annual business plan revenue models, including but not limited to the revenue forecast, revenue requirement projections, transmission and distribution separation and rate case models and the preparation of rate related documents used by other departments.
Facilitate interveners and Commission staff data request responses and auditing functions on technical issues during general rate filings and other filed petitions and assist in support required during the hearing process.
Maintain effective communication between departments. Provide technical support to other departments concerning rate analysis information and issues. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to present complex information to a highly diverse group of receivers.

Summary: The Manager of Credit & Collections reports to the Senior Manager of Credit Strategy. Connects and disconnects energized conductor taps using Hot Stick or other approved equipment and methods.
Performs the necessary switching operations as directed, executes clearances and tags switches, potheads and similar devices.
Installs, removes, repairs and maintains service lines to customers, including the installation and removal of meters.
Installs, removes, and maintains electrical cables in the underground systems. This includes splicing aerial cable and pothead installation other than lead covered cable.
Installs, removes, transfers and replaces communication cable system.
Assists in making load checks on transformers and distribution circuits.
Installs, removes, repairs and maintains street lighting circuits, transformers, fixtures and lamps and performs group street light replacement.
Paints, trims trees, installs cement, performs minor maintenance/repairs and does similar work.
Handles trouble and emergency calls, locating and isolating faults in transmission and distribution circuits, transformers and other equipment and makes necessary repairs.
Inspects, cleans, repairs and maintains transformers, insulators, switches, lines, cables,potheads, vaults, poles, structures, and similar equipment. Performs necessary replacement work and reports major maintenance requirements.
Drives, operates, and utilizes various vehicles including aerial lifts, digger-derricks, tractors, trenching equipment, cranes, conductor tensioning and stringing equipment, air compressors, earth boring machines, winch machines, and other similar vehicles used in the performance of work associated with overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems. Performs all required daily maintenance and operating checks on the equipment and prepares required associated reports.
Performs necessary rigging for handling cable reels and for raising and lowering of ransformers and other equipment utilized in overhead and underground work. Assists in loading, unloading, transporting and handling of this equipment and materials.
Ensures that all material removed from service is returned to the division for proper disposition.
Utilizing optimal crew size, performs all work in accordance with applicable safety procedures, being particularly watchful of the safety of other employees.
Plans, assigns, instructs and directs the work of a group of lesser grade employees.
Prepares daily work reports associated with work activities and records or directs the recording requirements for work performed by the crew.
Follows up and provides checks on the work of the assigned employees performing Hot Stick, or other type work, to ensure that it is done in a satisfactory manner and as scheduled.
Assumes responsibility for the care and use of assigned vehicles, tools (Hot Stick and other), material and equipment. Performs or directs the performance of all required daily maintenance and operating checks on the equipment.
Assumes responsibility for performing assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, so that employees and the public are safeguarded at all times.
Education / Experience Requirements
Education equivalent to graduation from high school
Must possess all qualifications of unrestricted Hot Stick Lineworker and must have held the unrestricted position for a minimum of two years.
Five or more years experience in the construction, maintenance and operation of the transmission and distribution system.
Must have a thorough knowledge of hotstick methods and other approved methods of construction and maintenance of the transmission distribution system.
Must have a thorough knowledge of metering, street lighting and service installation.
General understanding of the various types of cable in the underground system and familiarity with splicing methods other than lead covered cable.
Thorough knowledge of the procedures and rules governing outage requests, tagging and reporting on and off circuits, together with a complete familiarity with the Company's system of circuit designations.
Thorough understanding of various switching devices in the overhead and underground system.
Ability to recognize and appraise hazardous conditions and be able to take steps to effectively safeguard employees and the public.
Familiarity with the construction and maintenance of potheads, and similar equipment.
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
Ability to interpret and work from operating maps and prints.
Ability to instruct, plan and direct the work of others.
Tact and good judgement in dealing with customers and the public.
Demonstrated knowledge of equipment used and of the most efficient operating methods. Must qualify on appropriate equipment.
Obtains and maintains appropriate driver's license and required endorsements associated with the job requirements.
