What you will be doing: Audits, prepares, and processes manual, EDI, and internet orders. Ensures customers expectations are met and enforced by the Warehouse, Credit, EDI, and the Marketing Departments. Fulfills the sales business needs by accurately processing sales orders in the most efficient and cost effective way, while maintaining customer expectations and demands. Processes manual, EDI, and internet orders. Maintains customer records to include price lists, shipping addresses, and cross references. Communicates order information with the customer and/or Sales Representatives via phone calls and e-mails and responds to requests internally and externally. Monitors sales orders to ensure they are processed to the warehouse in the specified timeframe. Tracks shipments to ensure timely delivery by our carriers. Monitors inventory levels to ensure all inventory and products are available. Reviews scorecards for performance and tracking improvement. Reviews and research deduction updates or feedback. Acknowledge vendor compliance updates. Maintains files and archives of customers' orders. Processes new accounts. What you will be doing: The Principal Data Solution Architect will drive the modernization and strategic execution of our Data and Analytics platform. You will lead the end-to-end solution implementation, technical governance, and delivery oversight across our modern data stack, facilitating data democratization while maintaining strict security and privacy controls. * Act as the Lead Architect and technical owner for the end-to-end solution design of the modern data stack, ensuring seamless integration and data flow from source ingestion (Fivetran/Matillion) to final business consumption (Power BI). * Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex data integration strategies, specifically focusing on extracting, modeling, and optimizing data from Oracle ERP (Fusion/EBS) environments into Snowflake. * Drive the technical strategy for the platform by unifying Data and BI architecture into a cohesive, scalable implementation utilizing Snowflake and DBT, while enforcing best practices for performance optimization and cost-efficiency. * Define and enforce the overarching technical governance strategy, establishing standards for data quality, lineage, metadata, and a secure access model that supports true data democratization. * Provide hands-on senior guidance to the data engineering team, fostering engineering excellence, championing modern CI/CD workflows, and maintaining rigorous code review standards. * Translate strategic business needs into actionable technical roadmaps and oversee the delivery of external resources (consultants/vendors) to ensure alignment with architectural standards. Skills needed to be successful in this role: * Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives through cross-functional collaboration, influencing engineering teams and driving consensus on architectural direction. * Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures. * Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating architectural decisions to both development teams and business partners. * Delivery-focused mindset with the ability to balance long-term strategic vision with immediate project execution. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field. * 15+ years of progressive experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and BI solutions. * 5+ years of experience as a Lead Solution Architect, designing enterprise-level solutions for cloud-native platforms. * Demonstrated technical expertise with Oracle ERP systems (Oracle Fusion/Cloud or EBS) and understanding of their underlying data structures. * Expert-level SQL proficiency and deep understanding of modern data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, Data Vault). * Proven ability to manage technical project delivery and coordinate external vendor resources. Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree/MBA. * Experience in the CPG/Hard Goods/Retail Industry. * Experience designing and overseeing security strategies for GDPR, CCPA, and PII anonymization. * Experience with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Marketing Analytics, including data integration from paid media channels and digital marketing ecosystems.
