SECONDARY SUPPORT Career Events: * Collaborates with other department and university personnel to provide leaderships and direction in the planning and execution of career related events. * Assists the executive director with preparing pre- and post-event analysis including student learning outcomes; makes recommendations for improving services to internal and external constituencies; implements approved changes. * Supervises and directs student employees and interns, providing instructional information for career event preparation. Technology: * Assists students in the use of the Career Services software (Handshake) and the on-campus student employment process. * Assists the executive director with trainings for Supervisors of Student Employees in the Handshake system. * Compiles and distributes information weekly on full-time employment, internships, and part-time employment via e-mail to all interested faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Administrative: * Coordinates recruiting visits with industry, government, and education representatives; schedule interviewing rooms and/or group meeting facilities both in the center and across campus; coordinate special meetings, faculty/employer luncheons and the like. * Manages budget for career services. Co-approves purchases and monitors expenditures on a regular basis. Collaborates with executive director to develop annual budget.
