Requirements:

Day to Day:
Hardware, network, and server deployment, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, decommissioning, and project documentation.
Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware and software
Perform network installation, including Ethernet and VoIP systems
Conduct equipment repair and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Utilize hand tools for maintenance tasks
Provide field service support for data center operations

Responsibilities * Trouble shoots and repairs, as dictated by sound business practices, industrial HVAC equipment, pneumatic control systems, line and low voltage control systems, residential style fuel burning and electric furnaces, unit heaters, kitchen exhaust systems, various appliances, air compressors and other general service areas. * Repairs and maintains all the heating, air handling systems and A/C units. * Interprets preventative maintenance schedules and carries them through the steps needed for completion as noted on computer generated general maintenance/repair work orders. * Trouble shoots and repair large tonnage cooling equipment used in controlled environment such as labs or computer and control areas. * Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems related to building climate controls. * Lays out the installation of structural and functional components and installs them as required. Fastens parts together to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes. * Cuts, threads, and connects pipe to functional components and water or power system on premises. * Pumps specified gas or fluid into system. Starts system, observes operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjusts mechanisms such as valves, controls, and pumps to control level of fluid, pressure, and temperature in system. * Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components. Replaces or adjusts defective or worn parts to repair systems. * Tests and repairs various systems and equipment using meters, schematics, drawings and manuals. * Install wiring to connect components to electric power source. * Attends daily safety toolbox meetings and is required to do job safety evaluations for each job. * Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not being met. * This position has no supervisory responsibilities. * Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned. High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Technician must have EPA Universal certification to work on refrigerant systems. * Five (5) years' experience working in a commercial and/or industrial setting. *
HVAC hands on repair and troubleshooting proficiency in the commercial and industrial settings is required. * Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of pneumatic and electrical line and low voltage thermostats and controllers, routine change of filters. * Trouble shoot and diagnosis of airflow problems, monitor glycol pressures and levels. * Periodic inspection and monitoring of air conditioning coils to ensure proper airflows and heat rejection. * Augmentation of filter changes as required, inspect coil conditions for organic debris and soils. * Ensure compliance with EPA. * Use the Annual Preventative Air Conditioning Maintenance checklists/job plan provided or by manufacturers specifications. * Knowledge and ability to perform maintenance on various types of heating systems is required. * Basic knowledge of low to high voltage, 3 phase wiring principles and how to read a schematic. * The ability to write detailed, descriptive reports on HVAC equipment and required repairs. CFC reports required by the client, etc. * A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy. * Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment and hearing test. What you'll do:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you understand the importance of providing expert and quality service. We are looking for an individual who has:
Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units

Pay Range: $26-$35/hr
We are seeking a skilled HVAC/Industrial Technician to maintain and repair industrial equipment, mechanical systems, and HVAC systems in a production environment. This role ensures reliable performance of processing machinery that directly impacts daily production goals, safety standards, and facility efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, automation, mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot root causes of mechanical and electrical issues; complete repairs such as welding, fabricating, plumbing, and part replacement.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and conveyor system upkeep.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Use test equipment to diagnose controls, software issues, and malfunctioning machine components.
Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, pulleys, and rollers.
Promote safety by following safe work practices and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Provide leadership in the absence of supervision and assist in training other technicians.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-3+ years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical education or hands-on training in HVAC, electrical, welding, or mechanical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing, standing, crawling).
Must be available for weekend and holiday work as required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with advanced diagnostics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical testing devices.
Maintenance experience in food, poultry, or agricultural industries.
Previous leadership experience.
Familiarity with safety equipment including LOTO, harnesses, lanyards, hoists, and PPE.

A Commercial HVAC Field Service Technician role encompasses a wide variety of tasks where one day does not look exactly like the next. The jobs our team handles are high in volume and unique from one another and require interaction with customers and multi-department collaboration.
Typical tasks include:
Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment
Repair, replace and trouble-shoot existing HVAC equipment
Develop and maintain service schedule
Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily
