Leading global technology strategy and managing organization-wide change is what I do best as an executive leader with experience in complex technology environments. My background includes success in shaping organizational vision & direction, modernizing & digitizing IT functions & managing strategic planning efforts. Currently, as CIO of GE, I lead company-wide IT modernization to support GE’s overall digital transformation. I manage a team of over 10,000 & mobilize staff toward a common vision while driving organizational change through digitization. Prior to working for GE, I served in various roles for Terremark, a pioneer in enterprise cloud computing acquired by Verizon in 2011. I led the development of the company’s product, ultimately elevating the company to become #1 in enterprise cloud solutions at time of sale. I have been fortunate to work for some of the world’s greatest companies touching the lives of people from delivering essential communication systems to running some of the world’s busiest internet applications. I am passionate about using technology to make the world a better place & enjoy supporting company growth and change in a continuously evolving industry. As a professional, servant leadership characterizes my management style. With 13 years of experience as a volunteer firefighter, I’ve learned to be adaptable, make quick and efficient decisions and keep sight of the big picture. I’m passionate about leading with empathy and keeping others’ best interests in mind. Through a people-centric and customer-focused approach, I’ve shaped my company’s service and product delivery across my career.Outside of my current work with GE, I enjoy providing strategic direction and vision to Florida International University’s Advisory Council for Engineering and ONUG’s Board of Directors. I’m highly involved as a volunteer for YearUp! & am passionate about providing mentorship and sharing the lessons I’ve learned across my career with others.
