What you'll do:
Safely operate rubber tire loader with competency and caution, and adhere to safety procedures and requirements
Feed plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, pushup stockpiles and maintain clean yard and roadways
Travel between yards based on operational needs.
Communicate on regular and continuous basis with field supervisor regarding assigned work to accomplish and specific instructions.
Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdriver, sledge hammer, and others as needed to accomplish daily tasks to maintain and/or repair equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment (i.e., oil and filter changes, other equipment or motor repairs as necessary); notify supervisor of any deficiencies or repairs needed.
Inspect equipment and maintain written log of all equipment-related deficiencies.
Maintain housekeeping of work site including trash pickup, keeping tools in order; proper storage of equipment at end of work day.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job DescriptionWe're looking for Heavy EquipmentOperators with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. If you're experienced with heavy equipment, safety-focused, and enjoy working outdoors on construction sites, we'd love to hear from you.
For this role, Operators will be mostly dedicated to our Wyoming remote project. Per-diem included if qualified.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, bulldozers, and more.
Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all safety guidelines.
Read and understand blueprints and site plans.
Mentor and support less experienced operators.
Work independently or as directed by the Foreman to meet project goals.
Help maintain quality and schedule by working efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure safe and smooth site operations.
Required:
Valid Driver's License.
Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.

About this Role
A Wire Stringing Operator and a Heavy EquipmentOperator at Irby Construction Company is a position in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission systems. This position works at various locations. THIS POSITION WILL BE FOR THE WHOLE STATE OF FLORIDA.
What You'll Do
Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, or repair work of energized and de-energized transmission work.
Stringing overhead wire and experience with Tensioners and Pullers.
Setting poles and anchors.
Frequently works with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others.
Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
Understands operation of heavy equipment.
Understand basic rigging, hand lines, and lineman knot tying.
Understand the proper use and maintenance of hand tools.
Capable of receiving and following directions.
Capable of learning basic knowledge of materials used in line work.
Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in line work.
Able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit.

Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
