Responsible as the key HR training liaison between Center staff and the corporate team providing training oversight. The Staff Training Coordinator will assist with the development of training schedules, programs, marketing, communications, and facilitations of programs in support of corporate initiatives.
Essential Functions
1. Coordination and oversight of course development activities, including:
● Identification and prioritization of course development needs
● Identification of internal and external content experts
● Assistance with development of course materials
● Pilot testing required for validation (content and process)
● Delivery of course materials and follow-on evaluations
2. Coordination of delivery activities, including:
● Establishment of course delivery schedule
● Assistance with marketing and communication of programs and training services
● Identification of training vendors
● Coordination/scheduling of instructors for course delivery
● Evaluation of instructor performance
● Delivery and review of instructor evaluations, where applicable
3. Coordination of DWFS learning management system, including:
• Input of course delivery schedules
• Monitoring and updating of the course delivery schedules.
• Ongoing communication with Project Directors, Center Directors, Managers, Program
Managers, and other corporate staff.
4. Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate employability skills, including
personal responsibility and computer fluency.
5. Directs oversight of other senior management.
6. Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property; adheres to safety practices.
7. Coordinates with subcontracted staff to ensure a smooth and orderly center operation.
8. Able to maintain a 75% or higher on employee scorecard.

Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with degree in Human
Resources, Social Work, Education, or related field.
Experience in Workforce Development preferred.
At least two years' experience in working with diverse populations providing training, case
management or counseling services.
Experience leading the work activity of other employees in both face to face and virtual
environments.
Must have experience developing and delivering both virtual and live training sessions that
include practical application and competency testing methodology.
Experience working with youth is preferred.

Summary
Reports to the Social Development Director. 8. Administers the incentives program to recognize and reward positive behavior or gains in career

Summary
Conducts and manages career technical training (CTT). Responsible for providing CTT to students in accordance with approved curricula to ensure they leave the program as graduates that attain and maintain employment.

Purpose: Responsible for assisting and providing guidance to separated or separating students during the prescribed service period.
Your Responsibilities:
Acts as the central point of contact with graduates and former enrollees on the caseload.
Assists in quality placement efforts for all assigned students.
Acts as a liaison with center placement staff to place students prior to separation.
Establishes personal contact with prospective area employers to expand job-development efforts for employment opportunities.
Conducts employment-skills training classes on interviewing.
Assists participants in focusing on their occupational preferences through interest/ability assessments.
Arranges for job interviews for students.
Provides job-development services for specific career pathways.
Assists students with transitional services (i.e., housing, transportation, personal services).
Provides continuous follow-up with all terminated students.
Identifies community resources that can bring added value to caseloads, both collectively and individually.
Develops and monitors on-the-job (OTJ) training contracts.
Maintains records of participant progress through employment-skills training.
Conducts on-site visits with employers each month.
Maintains accountability of property, adheres to safety practices, and performs safety inspections in area of responsibility.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business communications, or closely related field
Experience: Two years of related experience and in working with youth.
Skills/Abilities:
Current CPR, First Aid, and water safety certifications
Ability to participate in the development of new and revised policies and procedures affecting placement activities
Ability to promote the Career Success Standards (CSS) by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students when necessary, and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency

Your Responsibilities:

Purpose
Reports to the Center Director. Responsible for placement services and career transition activities within contractual goals. Responsible for the daily supervision of the assigned placement services staff.
Essential Functions
Screens potential new Placement Services hires and makes recommendations for hire to the Center Director and HR Manager
Provides direction to staff and monitors staff performance.
Provides support (i.e., training, monitoring) by telephone, video conferencing, and both announced and unannounced visits.
Complies with all management, corporate, and government directives and operating procedures.
Responsible for quality control on assigned contracts.
Ensures that program activity and billing goals are met.
Coordinates and monitors job-development, employment skills training, and career-development functions.
Performs CTS when required within the assigned territory.

Position Description
Summary
Conducts and manages career technical training (CTT). Responsible for providing CTT to students in accordance with approved curricula to ensure they leave the program as graduates that attain and maintain employment.
Essential Functions
Oversee and actively participate in hands-on training sessions to teach front office skills.
Develops and collaborates curriculum with department managers for hands-on training, medical terminology and medical laws/procedures.
Instructs basic medical office material needed for CMAA testing.
Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom/training environment, ensuring maximum student motivation and outcomes.
Integrates math, reading, and writing concepts with employability, and Career Success Standards (CSS).

Submits Evaluations of Student Progress (ESPs) in a timely manner and documents student progress for inclusion on the ETA-640 profile.
Administers accurate completion of the Training Achievement Records (TAR) in a timely manner. 12. Documents student's progress in case notes at least monthly and records daily attendance.
Completes a monthly Accommodation Effectiveness Review for each student with a documented accommodation.
Identifies and prepares potential students for the Advanced Career Training (ACT) and Advanced Training (AT) Programs.
Assists students with the center's ACT process.
Ensures that all equipment assigned to the classroom is properly accounted for and maintained in good condition.
Participates in the Career Mentoring Team (CMT).
Provide support to the Career Development Services System (CDSS) department to ensure student job readiness.

Responsible as the key HR training liaison between Center staff and the corporate team providing training oversight. The Staff Training Coordinator will assist with the development of training schedules, programs, marketing, communications, and facilitations of programs in support of corporate initiatives.

3. Coordination of DWFS learning management system, including:
• Input of course delivery schedules

Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with degree in Human
Resources, Social Work, Education, or related field.
Experience in Workforce Development preferred.
At least two years' experience in working with diverse populations providing training, case
management or counseling services.
Experience leading the work activity of other employees in both face to face and virtual
environments.
Must have experience developing and delivering both virtual and live training sessions that
include practical application and competency testing methodology.
Experience working with youth is preferred.

About Dayton Job Corps
Job Corps' national mission is to educate and train highly-motivated young people, ages 16-24, for successful careers in the nation's fastest-growing industries. Here at Dayton Job Corps Center, we support their mission by teaching eligible young people, the skills they need to become employable and independent, and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. Students here have access to room and board while they learn skills in specific training areas for up to three years. The program helps them to complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, provides transitional support services, and assists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps graduates either enter the workforce or an apprenticeship, go on to higher education, or join the military.
Purpose: Responsible for assisting and providing guidance to separated or separating students during the prescribed service period.
Your Responsibilities:
Acts as the central point of contact with graduates and former enrollees on the caseload.
Assists in quality placement efforts for all assigned students.
Acts as a liaison with center placement staff to place students prior to separation.
Establishes personal contact with prospective area employers to expand job-development efforts for employment opportunities.
Conducts employment-skills training classes on interviewing.
Assists participants in focusing on their occupational preferences through interest/ability assessments.
Arranges for job interviews for students.
Provides job-development services for specific career pathways.
Assists students with transitional services (i.e., housing, transportation, personal services).
Provides continuous follow-up with all terminated students.
Identifies community resources that can bring added value to caseloads, both collectively and individually.
