The Quality Control Manager, as a member of our growing Quality Assurance team, will serve as a technical expert and will lead the QA/QC process of land development plan submissions. This person will play a key role in improving technical standards, value engineering, and eliminating design issues before and during construction. The QC Manager will also work closely with staff to develop a culture of technical excellence. This position will support the entire company and can be based in any of our offices. If you are not local, flexible arrangements can be made.
Responsibilities
Perform independent technical review in the areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design.
Identify potential design or constructability issues and provide value engineering for solutions that meet project requirements while reducing costs.
Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
Work collaboratively with the project managers and multi-disciplined design teams.
Verify that design and code requirements have been defined by the project engineer and have been indicated on the design documents.
Lead regular training and development sessions to foster an environment of technical excellence.
Provide vision and guidance to the firm in the area of Design and Production of technical deliverables.
Perform periodic evaluations of staff to identify training needs within assigned region and report to Head of QA.
Assist in training material preparation and lead training as needed.Assist in improvement of design tools, processes and procedures.
Balance your own workload in a deadline driven environment.
Manage a small team in future.
Travel to other offices when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
10+ years' experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential and/or commercial/industrial/office site design and permitting experience).
Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a plus
Valid driver's license.
Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
Familiar with AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop.
Familiar with BlueBeam for mark ups
In depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
Advanced skill level in design capabilities.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Proficient grading and drainage design skills.
Utility design experience including pump station and force mains.

Overview
The Survey Technician is primarily responsible for assisting in land surveying duties. Responsibilities include a variety of technical duties in the areas of surveying, construction, operations, and maintenance in support of surveyors, staff engineers and supervisors. Responsibilities

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Science, Geology or related engineering field; geotechnical engineering concentration preferred.
0 -3 years' experience in geotechnical consulting, construction material inspections or laboratory testing. Beneficial experience includes classifying soils in accordance with USDA or USCS, hydraulic conductivity and/or percolation testing, understanding and directing subsurface explorations, performing laboratory testing, and compiling data.
Onsite soil/septic evaluation, hydrogeologic study, on-site soil/septic evaluation experience a plus but not required.

**Job Description:**
The Construction Site Superintendent's primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and successful fulfillment to the contract after the design phase. Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the project management, leadership, profitability and client management for a design team. Responsibilities include project management, financial performance, loss prevention, budgeting, workload and staff balancing, preparation of technical proposals, monitoring of project budgets, staff supervision and scheduling of key projects.
The Project Manager will maintain presence and leadership throughout the regions where we do business through involvement in civic, professional and business organizations. This is a leadership position that also includes mentoring and developing staff.
Responsibilities
Project Management in the areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design.
Manage team assignments and balance workload in a deadline driven environment.
Provide vision and guidance to the firm in the area of Project Management.
Drive growth of the company's business model and promote business development.
Quality Control.
Permitting of federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
Provide technical assistance to staff and clients in resolving problems.
Prepare presentations to various land use related boards and jurisdictional agencies.
Building and managing client relationships, program and project management, promoting and selling strategic alliances.
Prepare proposals.
Guide, manage and support the delivery of projects and programs to ensure quality, and on-schedule and on-budget completion.
Financial management of projects including accounts receivable.
Lead projects through hands-on project management and actively manage the project plan, deliverables, dependencies and outcome of assigned projects to ensure projects are on-schedule and on budget.
Client management and overall satisfaction.
Mentor and develop staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
7+ years' experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting experience).
Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
Familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.
In depth knowledge of the planning and zoning processes.
Knowledge of Hydrologic and Hydraulic Stormwater Design.
Proficient in design and drafting capabilities.
Proficient grading and drainage design skills.
Utility design experience including pump station and force mains.
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
Proficient in the use of available mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation purposes.
Construction oversight experience for site work.
Proficient in the use of the following design tools for site engineering:
AutoCAD Civil3D
Hydrology Software i.e. Hydraflow, HydroCAD, PondPack
Hydraulic Software i.e. Hydraflow, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA)
HEC-RAS
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
