Meanwhile, at the dealership, John recognized significant business opportunities in the automatic transmission repair market. Therefore, in 1955, John began “Super Automatic Transmission Co,” whose namesake honored Superman: “The man who taught me how to read and write.
Dynamic continued to expand, but our big break came in 1985.
Dynamic Structures capitalized on its engineering, designing, fabrication experience in telescopes and complex structures to land several iconic rides for Disney and Universal starting in 2000
Empire Industries was founded in 2006 by Guy Nelson through the reverse takeover of Empire Iron Works.
The recession of 2009 hit the company’s steel fabrication business very hard.
Four of the steel fabrication were divested and in 2011 as theme park business grew, Dynamic Attractions was created to accelerate the ride engineering capacity that Dynamic Structures had initiated.
Our first co-venture is scheduled to open for the summer of 2021 at The Island Theme Park in the Smoky Mountains.
