ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY:
This class is the four class in a five-level Transportation Support Series devoted to supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Dysart Unified School District's transportation system.
Incumbent oversees the day to day inspection, maintenance, and repair of buses and fleet vehicles, supervise and assign work to mechanics according to established standards, ensure safe work practices are followed, assist mechanics in trouble shooting; provide information to supervisor and others; install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all technology equipment; oversee and maintain system used in issuance of automated fueling and security cards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Collaborates with Fleet Maintenance Manager in regards to priorities for scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs of buses and other District vehicles.
• Communicates with Fleet Maintenance Manager concerning the status of and interruptions to the completion of work assigned to mechanics.
• Assigns work to mechanics, monitors quality, and supervises performance to assure compliance with applicable Federal and State safety regulations.
• Monitors fleet maintenance staffs' and visitors' compliance with safety practices and informs Fleet Maintenance Supervisor of corrective action taken.
• Oversees inspection, maintenance, performs repair, and installation-removal of specialized equipment, such as bus-vehicle surveillance systems, Zonar GPS units and related equipment; and informs Fleet Maintenance Manager of irregularities and problems.
• Responds to service calls to repair or arrange for towing buses or other District vehicles.
• Assists mechanics with diagnosing and troubleshooting various automotive, mechanical, and related problems.
• Assists in assessing breakdowns, accidents, and emergency situations; takes corrective action; and road-tests buses and other District vehicles as necessary.
• Assists in evaluating vehicle inspection reports and input of vehicle repairs performed on work order into vehicle maintenance software programs as necessary.
• Assists in maintenance of accurate records of fleet repairs, repair costs, parts procurement, vehicle warranties, and etc., to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Oversees software system used to issue HID Proxy Card, Zonar card, and related devices integrated with automated fuel dispensing, building access, and related records.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED and five years of related experience as a journey-level mechanic performing a full range of fleet repairs on heavy duty and/or commercial vehicles. Experience in a lead or supervisory position is desirable.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Valid Arizona Commercial Driver License, Class B with P endorsement, without restrictions, or must be obtained within 90 days of employment, and satisfactory driving record.

* Monitors pure tone threshold of hearing impaired students in special education programs and provides information to classroom teachers regarding the use of functioning amplification.

* Recommends hearing assistive technology, as appropriate, to promote student success in all environments.

As an assistant to the high school Band Director, the Percussion instructor coordinates the preparations, exercises, and activities of the school marching band's percussion and front ensemble unit, in addition to the planning and directing of any winter programs. The instructor prepares and directs the unit for independent performance and competition, as well as for performances integrated within the larger marching band.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Attend all rehearsals, band camps, and performances, actively participating in assisting students in sectional and whole group rehearsals.
Instruct basic to advanced percussion rudiments and fundamentals.
Organize and lead rehearsals and sectionals.
Develop and implement the visual design of the program.

OVERVIEW
Perform a variety of duties related to the day-to-day preparation and delivery of school food service to students and adults.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
* Must be 18 years of age
* Possess or ability to obtain a Maricopa County Environmental Services Food Service Worker card within 30 days from hire.
* Have the ability to perform vigorous physical work and to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Operate various types of commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, choppers, steam tables, ovens, etc. as needed.
* Wash dishes, pots and pans, equipment, kitchen utensils, and work area cleanup.
* Set-up and cleanup food serving lines, food bars, etc.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
* May transport food to another location and organize food distribution.

Job Summary:
The School Psychologist Intern will develop skills in providing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral support and consultation services to students in elementary, junior high, and high schools, while working in-tandem with their supervisor. The supervision model will allow for overlap between school sites, as well as provide a minimum of 2 hours/week of supervision. Most intern candidates will have their own campus, with a reduced caseload. Meaning, what is typically a partial FTE school, will be the intern's main campus, where they spend 80% of their time or more. Intern candidates will have consistent access to their supervisor, above the mandatory 2 hours of supervision per week.
Candidates must complete an on-line application which requires appropriate Arizona certification, valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, evidence of highly qualified status, three letters of recommendation, and transcript of credits.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluator of Individual Students
* Follow professional best practices and district procedures in identification, evaluation, and placement of potential special education students and re-evaluation of students previously found eligible for special education services
* Interns work under the certification of their supervisor. ALL decisions made regarding evaluation and identification of students will be reviewed and approved by the supervisor
Consultant Regarding Educational and Mental Health Needs of Students
* Emphasize application of psychological and mental health principles in the school setting
* Assist school staff in understanding and using group measurement data
* Encourage the use of data-based decision making and research-based interventions
* Assist school staff to analyze student behavior and provide positive behavioral supports
* Assist in understanding of student differences and individual student needs
* Encourage and assist in the development of programs to provide special education help needed by students
* Assist teachers in the development of appropriate classroom interventions for instructional, behavioral, and mental health needs of students
Member of School/District Staff
* Contribute to the objectives of the school

Required Qualifications:
