Also, additional job duties may be assigned. * Loads and unloads trucks using material handling equipment * Uses hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment to move shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage or work areas. * Wraps and packages completed parts and assemblies and boxes for shipment to customer. * Performs part validation per written work instructions. * Verifies quantities to be part-marked, packaged, and shipped and examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. * By using the company's MRP system to verify deliveries, put parts on hand and create packing slips. * Prepares and secures cartons, crates, pallets, and other containers for shipment of goods. * Stamps, stencils, labels, or affixes identifying information and shipping instructions onto cartons, pallets, crates, or containers as required. * Determines method of shipment and posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage as necessary. * Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. * Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and communicates with the buyer and/or shipper to reconcile damages and shortages. Routes items to the appropriate departments as required. * Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies. * Meets established standards for productivity and quality. Ensuring that all items are available to process quotes, including material, material cost, annual volume, part print including CAD data, assembly information, packaging information, ship destination, and any other pertinent information. If information is not available, required to contact the customer and request. Managing all CAD data including master CAD data for production parts, and CAD data received for quoting. Creating all customer driven ECO's regarding Engineering changes & part print changes/ updates. Evaluating part prints as they come in from the customer, providing Engineering with a review of the print the ECO and prints to be entered in the system. Retrieving all new quote data, engineering change proposal data, released for build data, and designs for the customer via FTP sites. Processes all data by providing 4-views, overlays, translated data, designs, and blank estimates/nesting to the Sales and Engineering departments, as well as to gage shops for quoting and/or release to build. Modifies data per proposals dictated by the Engineering and/or Quality departments, as well as providing CMM layout report overlays to current math data for comparisons and proposals. Analyzes part prints and/or data and providing piece price, tool, fixture, and weld assembles estimates for review by the Engineering Manager. Quotes to gage shops for comparison and support. Provides and distributes to the V.P. of Stamping and President a weekly spreadsheet equipped with charts depicting the timeliness of quotes internally. Qualifications: o Associates degree (A. A.) or related engineering/quoting/CAD experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. o Must be able to demonstrate excellent skills in MS Excel and Word, with moderate CAD skills showing the ability to open files, print drawings and scale parts, and execute light design changes to both drawings and math data. o Reliable. o Must also be able to demonstrate efficient skills in manual and/or computer-aided part-blanking, as well as part nesting, and establishing processes. o Journeyman diemaker card and weld estimation experiences are a plus. o Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. o Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. o Perform the job safely while adhering to company safety standards. We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Facility Painter to join our team. This role is heavily paint-focused, responsible for improving and maintaining the visual condition of company facilities through professional surface preparation and paint application. The position requires operation of both boom lifts and scissor lifts to safely reach elevated work areas. You will play a critical role in ensuring our facility appearance meets company standards and provides a clean, well-presented environment for employees and visitors. RESPONSIBILITIES · Perform interior and exterior painting projects with an emphasis on facility improvement and long-term surface protection. · Complete full surface preparation including: · Patching, sanding, scraping, caulking, cleaning, priming, and surface repairs prior to paint application. · Apply paint using a variety of methods based on surface and finish requirements: · Rolling for large wall and ceiling areas · Brushing for trim, corners, and detailed work · Spray application for smooth, even, high-quality coats · Execute specialized paint techniques when required, such as: · Touch-ups, stenciling, textured finishes, epoxy coatings, and color-matched repairs · Safely operate elevated equipment for painting in high areas, including: · Boom lifts · Scissor lifts · Ladders and platforms · Maintain and organize paint inventory, equipment, tools, and PPE. · Ensure adherence to all company safety guidelines, including proper PPE use and equipment inspections. · Conduct pre-use safety checks on lift equipment and painting tools prior to each operation. · Partner with maintenance and facility teams to support paint planning, 5S improvements, color standardization, and workspace organization. · Respond to painting requests promptly and complete assigned projects efficiently. · Perform other duties as directed by supervisor/manager. · Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor/manager. Assist with dimensions of check fixtures from start of build to customer buyoff. Provide technical support to fixture sources when necessary. Review fixtures and gauging incoming from fixture/gaging sources and validate construction to design and intended usage. Assist in gauging R&R. Track all measuring equipment used in facility and calibrate measuring equipment. Review part print and GD&T to provide key dimensional analysis. Cooperate with the ISO internal auditor on closing out CARs.
