A Taste of What You'll Do Join our team as a Mechanic in winery and coloring operations, where your hands-on skills keep production flowing and quality standards high. You will install, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment - from facilities steam systems, plumbing, welding, minor electrical and minor HVAC maintenance. You will troubleshoot issues, perform immediate repairs, and rebuild or fabricate parts when needed. You'll support daily production by optimizing equipment control systems, performing preventative maintenance and calibrations, and ensuring all equipment is tested and documented to meet ISO and regulatory requirements. We're looking for a dependable problem-solver who values safety, cleanliness, and teamwork. Strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to read schematics and maintain accurate maintenance records are essential. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced CNCmaintenance services to support the production goals of the company. Self-diagnosehighly technical Machine Toolproblems andleadrepairsto completion. Runthe Renishaw Ball bar to measureaxisalignment andpreciselycalculate the neededmechanical and electrical adjustmentstoset the machinetowithin microns. ProgramPLCladder logicandkeeper bitsto diagnoseand repair Fanuc, and Mazatrolmachinery. Establish communication protocolsfor drip feed programmingparameters, and PMCbackups. Teachand repair:Yaskawa,FanucRobotics,and other automated gantrymachine loaders. Troubleshoot, electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllers. Leadfacility capital projects, and comprehensive FMEA'sto help improve the manufacturing process. Must be able toschedule andcoordinatewith OEM expertsto complete PM's andrepairson time as needed. Operate Lathe and Mill for custom fabrication.Work withoperators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if needed. Order parts andtrackmaterials list to complete upcoming projects. Prepare Metrics for maintenancecost, andmachine downtime. Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environments, orevenclean rooms. Take part inafter-hours"On-Call"responsibilitiesas part of themaintenanceteam rotationlasting 7 consecutive days at a time. What We Seek: 1+ YearsMachine Tool Maintenance background. Familiarity withrebuildsutilizing Giband WayScrapingandTurciteinstallation. Mechanical aptitude, working knowledge ofball screws, worm gears, transmissions, etc. Electrical aptitude, working knowledge ofsafety circuits, timers,servo's,HMIs,etc. Preferred knowledge in (Fadal, Haas,Mitsubishi, Hardinge, Okamoto and Chevalier). Diverse maintenance background including servicing:blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Retrofit, upgrade, and designhydraulic and pneumatic systems. Astute attention to detail tohelpdrive Safety and Quality. Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50lbs. Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)meeting NFPA 70Erequirements. Experiencedoperator of Engine hoists, Cranes, Forklifts,ScissorLifts,ArticulatedBooms, and Front Endloaders. Utilize personal tools forprecision alignments including concentric shafts. Weldingto createnew physical structuresor modificationsforequipment. Meticulouslydocumentationusing Microsoft productsto capture and improve SOP's, inventory management, OEE, machine tool history, expenditures, and MTBF. SomeFlexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations,etc. Candidate must have the capacity tocomply withthe federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
