1948

Ehsan Asherian, who started his business in 1948 as a street salesman selling Philips branded electric-shavers in overseas.

1972

Emergency Services, Inc. was formed in 1972 to deliver emergency physician services to Central Ohio emergency departments.

1977

Executive Search International was founded in 1977 by Bernd Wosgien a true pioneer in the Hospitality search arena.

1979

In 1979, he along with his two sons, Philip Asherian and Farshad Asherian moved to the United States.

1983

In 1983, Fariba Rad, the founder’s daughter, joined the company and started the distribution of ESI’s products to the Caribbean Islands.

1986

In 1986, Mark Barron joined the company and took charge of the company’s accounting.

2011

Following the Rome operation, in 2011 a new office opened in Milan and then in London and Abu Dhabi.

2013

2013: Introduced software license training program for IT buyers across the Federal Government
