You will: Prepare work to be estimated by reviewing requests for proposals (RFP), engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents. Meet with customers to review the technical scope and engineering requirements. Develop estimates by identifying labor, material, travel expenses, and time requirements by studying RFPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents. Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Work closely with E Tech engineers and project managers to refine estimates Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Create proposal document by entering scope, deliverable, schedule, risk, and clarification information from the estimate into existing proposal template. Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications. JobID: 3019011 Category: JobSchedule: Full time JobShift: : What You'll Do: The Residential Service Technician's primary functions and responsibilities are that of troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing and programming existing security and site automation solutions. * Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control. * Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures. * Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service. * A customer service champion, demonstrating the willingness to help our customers fix as well as understand the protection in their home.
