Overview The Material Coordinator will play an integral part of a construction project team to ensure proper materials are ordered and get to the job site on time. Assist in physically reconciling material and material documentation at completion of construction. Primary materials are related to gas piping and instrumentation. Responsibilities Work with project team and project bill of materials to order material through a procurement system. Help ensure ordered material meets company specifications. Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials. Proper forms and records will be filed upon materials' receipt to ensure suppliers are providing the ordered materials and to deal with any potential discrepancies. Upon receipt of requisitions, will either retrieve the requested material and deliver the material to the requester or facilitate the logistics of retrieval and delivery. Maintain all information for status of materials. Collaborate with construction team to schedule all deliveries and manage all delays and ensure compliance to all material requests. Prepare required reports for all cost accounts and procurement to ensure compliance to all account payable requirements. Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials. Prepare reports for all materials and may assist with managing transportation of materials. Qualifications Must have knowledge of piping and/or instrumentation materials. Knowledge of project management principles and practices. Ability to support multiple project managers/project teams. Must be able to prepare written communications on technical and non-technical matters for various levels of management. Must possess the ability to effectively interact with various departments to maintain open lines of communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor to project teams, helping them navigate complex agreements and make informed business decisions. You'll use your communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to review contracts, guide negotiations, and identify risks-contributing to the successful delivery of design-build and related projects in the water and wastewater industry. Detailed Description * Advise project teams involved in design-build and related projects, either in a contractor role, designer role, or both, as to appropriate contractual terms in a variety of settings. * Review RFPs and the associated contracts, provide contract risk assessments including proposed contract changes and exceptions and suggest risk mitigation measures. * Be responsible to draft and review a variety of agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, joint ventures, prime contracts, and subcontracts. * Maintain close working relationships with applicable leadership team, sales and delivery managers, other members of the legal department, as well as other internal core services groups necessary to achieve comprehensive review and risk assessment (cybersecurity, tax, insurance, etc.). * Serve as one of the organization's contacts to address questions related to existing contracts and contract processes. * Prioritize between multiple projects on a time-sensitive basis. Review historical drawings, loading conditions, and modification records to evaluate structural performance and conformance. Collaborate with civil, electrical, and transmission line engineers to ensure holistic and safe engineering solutions. Participate in root cause failure analysis, engineering review boards, and lessons-learned activities. Maintain clear, traceable engineering documentation and contribute to technical reports and work packages. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering. 3-7 years of experience in structural analysis and design, preferably in utility or transmission structures. Working knowledge of lattice steel tower behavior, load paths, wind and seismic loading, and corrosion impacts. Familiarity with relevant standards and codes: CPUC GO-95, ASCE, AISC, IEEE, NESC. Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, RISA, or equivalent). Ability to interpret field inspection data, engineering drawings, and specifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred California Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months. Experience working with utilities, particularly SCE or within California. Experience with PLS-TOWER, PLS-CADD, or transmission line structural modeling tools. Familiarity with asset management systems, GIS platforms, and inspection programs. Understanding of corrosion mitigation, fatigue, and aging infrastructure evaluation. Wage Data Per State Requirements Salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
