Overview
The Quality Manager is a critical member of the leadership team for Midland Manufacturing and will act as a strong partner to the Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards. This position provides strategic leadership and direction to Midland's Quality organization by driving the management of the organization's quality management systems and programs related to the inspection, sampling, testing, and packaging of manufactured parts and finished products for highly regulated products. The Quality Manager supports, directs, and provides guidance to all quality and regulatory activities, trials, and existing product modifications.
Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all quality regulations, standards, and corporate policies including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 for assigned department
Provide leadership and governance of all activities related to the lifecycle processes of the quality systems and programs, including defining the strategic direction, responsibility, authority, and communication to assure its safe and effective performance
Responsible for development and maintenance of quality systems to comply with regulations, standards and corporate policies that govern the business such as ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003
Lead the implementation of strategies to sustain and improve the Quality organization to support the product lifecycle management from concept to product realization
Responsible for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, including a self-assessment and report to management
Manages and participates in the development of regulatory and industry standards. Provides direction and oversight of evaluation of the regulatory impact of changes associated with product design change
Manages and participates in the development and implementation of quality control specifications, standards, and programs for parts, products, and processes
Lead a team of quality professionals in such areas as auditing, complaint handling, corrective and preventive action, document control, engineering, and regulatory
Manages the continuous review of quality control programs and the formulation of new or revised policies and procedures to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency
Manages the establishment of programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production and processing equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical facilities
Reviews data on product defects and recommends modifications
Responsible for qualifying suppliers and monitoring vendor quality

Minimum of three years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

Pay Range: $122,373.00 - $175,911.00

Key Responsibilities:
Requires a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical solving, including AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480), high amperage and some 400 cycle equipment
Requires experience in industrial wiring and the ability to read and follow wiring schematics and work without supervision
Journeyman electrical license a plus
Requires the ability to make low and high voltage repairs to all building electrical equipment
This includes solving, installation and repair of 110/220/480 volt single and multiphase electrical circuitry and devices

Training:
As an Outside Plant Construction Technician III, you will have the opportunity to obtain a Class A CDL through our in-house training program. You will attend safety training at one of our new facilities where you will also be trained on Pole Climbing and Bucket Trucks. On-the-job training includes exposure to various construction equipment including Directional Drill Rigs, Mini Excavators, Trenchers, and Locators. Fiber optic training includes Fusion Splicing, Fault Detection, and exposure to OTDRs and other advanced testing equipment.

Ensure locates are performed on time and prior to team and equipment arriving at the worksite.

Perform the placement of new aerial and buried fiber according to maps, staking sheets, and locate markings.

Service, clean, maintain, and repair equipment.
Check DOT logs and review condition of trucks and trailers on job site to ensure all vehicles meet DOT standards.
Report any issues to Sr Outside Plant Construction Tech.
Complete all related paperwork in a timely manner.
Assist Field Services technicians, as needed.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
2+ years of construction equipment operation utilizing various underground and aerial construction equipment such as directional drills, trencher/plow/rocksaw, backhoe, or bucket trucks -OR- current military service, or prior military service with honorable discharge.
Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines in order to meet TDS's business needs including but not limited to our obligations to our customers and to our customers' needs.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and remain eligible for DOT requirements.
Other Qualifications
Must have the ability to obtain a Class A CDL. A current CDL is preferred at hire, but TDS will train and certify eligible associates through its in-house CDL certification program after hire.
Physical requirements may vary based on company needs: Ability to climb poles, ladders, towers, and other structures as needed. Ability to kneel, dig, lift, and pull.
Upon hire, must successfully pass all components of the Safety Training course curriculum.

Primary Responsibilities:
Greets visitors and patients in person

- Define and own product strategy, roadmap and release plans for secondary mortgage market and securitization capabilities.
- Lead the product vision, roadmap and execution for systems and processes that support the secondary mortgage market, with a strong emphasis on securitization workflows and investor delivery.
- Act as the single product owner voice between business stakeholders (trading, capital markets, trading ops, servicing, investor relations, risk, legal) and delivery teams to prioritize value, manage scope, and ensure timely, compliant releases.
- Own product outcomes: investor settlement accuracy, timeliness of deliveries, quality of loan tapes, complaint handling, regulatory and investor reporting, and automation of manual touchpoints.
