Job Description:
We are seeking a specialist to lead the evaluation and enterprise-wide transition from Hybrid Azure AD Join to cloud-native Entra Join. This role combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft Autopilot, Intune, and Entra ID with strategic planning and execution capabilities to modernize our identity and device management infrastructure. The role also includes leadership in upgrading the enterprise from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and ensuring compatibility with GlobalProtect VPN solutions.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Identity Transition
Lead the assessment and planning for converting devices from Hybrid Azure AD Join to Entra Join.
Develop and execute a phased migration strategy aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless transition.
Autopilot Configuration and Deployment
Design and implement Autopilot profiles optimized for Entra Join environments.
Integrate Autopilot with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID for zero-touch provisioning.
Ensure device provisioning aligns with modern management and security standards.
Windows 10 to Windows 11 Upgrade
Plan and execute the enterprise-wide upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Validate hardware compatibility and readiness across device fleets.
Coordinate testing and deployment strategies to minimize disruption. GlobalProtect Integration
Ensure compatibility of Autopilot and Entra Join configurations with GlobalProtect VPN.
Collaborate with network and security teams to validate VPN policies and access controls.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues related to GlobalProtect during and after migration.
Project Leadership
Partner with project managers to define scope, milestones, and deliverables for the identity and OS transition.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
Documentation and Change Management
Create detailed documentation for Entra Join configurations, migration procedures, Autopilot deployments, and OS upgrade processes.
Develop training materials and support documentation for IT teams and end-users.
Maintain records of issues, resolutions, and lessons learned.
Post-Deployment Support
Monitor and optimize the Entra Join, Autopilot, and Windows 11 environments.
Troubleshoot identity, provisioning, and VPN-related issues.
Stay current with Microsoft updates and best practices for cloud identity and device management.
Experience:
Proven experience with Microsoft Autopilot, Intune, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
Strong understanding of identity models, including Hybrid Azure AD Join and Entra Join.
Experience with Windows 10/11 provisioning, upgrades, and management.
Familiarity with GlobalProtect VPN configuration and troubleshooting.

Position Summary:

Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically 3-5, depending on size and complexity.
Oversee the full architectural process, from early programming through construction administration.
