ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge and understanding of the Project Development process and the application of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
Knowledge of the Environmental and Public Involvement activities required for PD&E Studies.
Knowledge of AASHTO, State (FDOT) and Municipal (Green Book) design criteria, standards and plans preparation requirements.
Knowledge in Traffic Demand and Analysis, Highway Horizontal and Vertical Alignment, Structures, Drainage, Maintenance of Traffic, Signing and Pavement Markings, Signalization, Lighting, Utilities, Structures, Intelligent Transportation Systems and Tolling and design or coordination of all engineering disciplines required for the development of engineering alternatives for a project.
Excellent verbal, technical writing, and presentation skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Able to effectively work independently and within a team.
Able to understand, analyze, and process complex technical information.
Able to effectively lead project team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ProjectManagement
Plans, schedules, conducts, and/or coordinates detailed phases of assigned project work.
Works closely with senior-level ProjectManagers to deliver assignments that meet client requirements and expectations.
Engineering
Engineer of Record where needed.
Makes design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications. Performs calculations using engineering formulas and skills.
Prepares reports and correspondence.
Serves as a technical advisor to junior-level project team members.
Business Development (BD)
Maintains positive relationship with current and past clients.
Active marketing of projects including client meetings, proposals and presentations; contributions to social media and intranet posts.
Pursuits: Seeks potential BD opportunities and prepares a Win Plan for each pursuit. Leads pursuits. Contributes to write-ups. Works within the pursuit budget to secure wins to meet assigned BD goals.
EXPERIENCE:
Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).

Reporting to a Director or Program Manager, the ProjectManager (PM) oversees all aspects of a project and is the primary point of contact for the customer. This role ensures the execution of the client needs while delivering profitable results through the forecast, analysis, and management of project budgets.
