By 1971 they all had in common that they had performed in Linda Ronstadt’s backup band, and manager David Geffen signed them to be a group for his new label Asylum Records.

1972

They recorded with Linda Ronstadt before the 1972 release of their eponymous debut album.

1982

Eagle Administrative Services was formed in 1986 to provide administrative support to the Eagle Group of companies.

1989

Recorded live in Melbourne, Australia at The National Tennis Centre in November 1989, this release captures the third stop on The Bee Gee’s ‘One for All World Tour’ celebrating their eighteenth studio album ‘One.’

1991

With a line up including John Lodge, Justin Hayward, Ray Thomas and Graeme Edge, this show from 1991 included inspired performances of classics such as Question, I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band, and of course Nights In White Satin.

1992

1993

In 1993 Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles, a tribute album performed by country artists like Vince Gill and Travis Tritt, became a blockbuster in that field.

1994

The group’s nostalgia-tinged yet still musically vibrant reunion tour and album in 1994 featured four new songs and proved even more successful.

They established a circus ramp at Wenatchee and operated it until Burlington Northern closed the facility in 1994.

1997

In 1998 the Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

2000

2001

In 2001 she signed a new multialbum contract with Arista for $100 million, but personal difficulties soon overshadowed her recording career.

2002

Her 2002 album, Just Whitney, was a personal response to her detractors, but its sales were disappointing compared with earlier efforts.

2003

Other than a lacklustre holiday album, One Wish (2003), Houston spent subsequent years in a state of virtual retirement.

2007

The band reunited again for Long Road Out of Eden (2007), a double album that represented the Eagles’ first collection of completely new material in almost three decades.

2009

In February 2009 she began a comeback effort with a four-song set at Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammy Awards gala.

2012

Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel on February 11, 2012.

In January 2015 Houston’s only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home near Atlanta.
