Responsibilities
Perform startup checks at the beginning of each shift.
Perform machine setup before each shift and perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during production logging results electronically by hour against set efficiency targets.
Perform routine time-based tests to ensure machines are producing quality products (i.e. seal, visual, weight, etc.).
Perform front line preventative maintenance.
Monitor and perform routine adjustments and calibrations on each machine (packaging machine, scales).
Monitor all product to be packaged to ensure best quality standards are being met against provided work instructions.
Oversee efficient and safe operation of all equipment on the line.
Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment setups have been made and appropriate packaging material are present for efficient productivity
Ensure all materials are properly counted, weighed, and labelled with correct label information.
Ensure that all partial pallets, bags, containers, are available and accessible as well as having proper documentation such as part number, weights, and expiration dates.
Ensure that all material and packaging are correct and meet all the customer and Company specifications against provided work instructions.
Ensure adequate housekeeping in the work area throughout the day to include maintaining and cleaning machine(s) before and after each shift.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
The ability to communicate and take directions effectively and efficiently in the English language, both verbal and written.
1-year of packaging operator experience required.
Must have the capability to stand while at work station(s) and capable of climbing stairs.
Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Experience with GMP's, HACCP, and Food Safety requirements preferred.
Experience with Vertical Form and Fill (Hayssen, Matrix, TNA) and Pouch machine highly preferred.

* Maintain tools & data required to create weekly production schedule by working with the Manager of Supply Planning and the plant to understand:
* Which sku's are Make to Order (MTO) vs. Make to Stock (MTS)
* How safety stocks are set for each make to stock finished goods sku and what the safety stock levels are for all items you are asked to plan
* The plant operating strategy inclusive of production system identification, hours of operation by production system, overtime communication and lead time expectations, process system rates by formula, packing asset rates and efficiencies, how bag sizes should be paired to ensure process assets are not blocked by packaging rates, sanitation requirements, desired production sequences, minimum run lengths/quantities on each production system, key staffing constraints/considerations, and how downtime and experimental runs are scheduled and communicated
* Develop a working knowledge of production lines, systems, and plant floor operations, including processes flows, bottlenecks/constraints, and performance drivers, to enable effective and realistic scheduling decisions while actively engaging with plant floor.
* Build production plans & detailed line schedules weekly by using all the above components to create feasible, optimized line schedules by day for assigned production systems that both deliver the business needs and align with the plant operating strategy. Production schedules should be developed to maintain safety stock levels considerate of all open orders on MTS items and cover orders for MTO items.
* Release schedule to the plant and adjust MOs within the week when inventory needs will not be sufficient to maintain safety stocks or meet open orders and propose options to enable orders to be covered or safety stocks to be restored. Be open to feedback on proposed solutions to create win-win outcomes.
* Effectively communicate weekly schedule & work with others to ensure the business needs are being met by attending daily and weekly plant scheduling meetings to:
* Review proposed production plans for agreed to future periods
* Get feedback on the proposed plan and align changes to optimize the business (service & plant performance)
* Get updates on material inventory and delivery status
* Propose in week adjustments to production schedules and discuss why the schedule needs to be changed.
* Incorporate plan changes agreed to by business partners (plant leadership, material planners, your manager, etc.) into the schedule
* Work with customer service on when product will be available to fill customer orders
* Own production and deployment plans end to end, partnering with local plant leadership and cross functional teams to proactively address issues align on solutions and deliver reliable outcomes
* Plan and execute new item launches, in and out events, and item transitions in a way that delivers fill rate but minimizes obsolescence
* Schedule inventory deployment to the distribution network to support target inventory levels and customer demand
* Handle sensitive and confidential business information related to production plans, inventory levels, customer demand, plant performance, and deployment strategies with discretion and professionalism.

Take ownership of tactical planning activities, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and market dynamics to meet business needs.
Financial and Analytical Responsibility
Manage account-level P&L responsibilities, ensuring delivery of sales, margin, and trade spend targets.
Develop and track annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with finance and operations teams to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Analyze the impact and efficiency of trade promotions and customer programs to inform future investments and improve return on spend.
Support demand planning by providing timely, data-driven volume forecasts.
Strategic and Tactical Planning
Lead development and execution of tactical-level plans, with a strong focus on near-term growth opportunities, customer-specific initiatives, and market responsiveness.
Align internal and external stakeholders around clearly defined execution plans, performance metrics, and deliverables.
Serve as the tactical lead for assigned accounts, making day-to-day decisions that drive business outcomes while escalating broader strategic needs when necessary.
Leadership and Problem Solving
Manage low to mid-level agency and broker resources, providing clear direction to ensure effective execution at the store and customer level.
Demonstrate strong judgment and practical problem-solving in fast-paced, changing environments.
Prioritize multiple projects effectively while maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Provide recommendations and feedback to leadership to support account performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term business goals.
Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge
Strong selling, relationship-building, and leadership skills
Proficient in digital and eCommerce sales
Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation abilities
Skilled in syndicated data, consumer trends, and trade tools (TPM, forecasting software)
Education
Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent experience)
Experience
5-8 years in sales or customer management
3+ years leading strategic customers; experience with wholesale distributors preferred
Broker management across large territories
Experience with dry grocery and salty snacks; branded and private label a plus
Background in large CPG or private equity-backed companies preferred
Other Requirements
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build senior-level trade relationships
Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset
Willing to travel 30-50%

Responsibilities
Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators as needed
Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production
Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery as needed
Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings
Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Perform electrical troubleshooting on all plant equipment and machinery
Set-up and operate all types of production equipment and machine tools such as lathes, mills, and welders.
Follow all aspects of the lock out/tag out program.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
3-5 years of mechanical/electrical technician experience
Fluency in English & Spanish preferred
Experience in food manufacturing preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
Fork-lift operation experience preferred.
