This role supports an Automated Prescription Refill Centers (ARC) for major retailers in the areas of computer systems, mechanical systems, robotic systems, conveyance, and sortation systems Position Description The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance activities of Automated Refill Center to include mechanical systems (i.e. robotic, conveyor, high pressure air) as well as IT systems (i.e. computer, network, peripheral devices). The Maintenance Manager will also have direct responsibility of maintenance teams comprised of skilled and non-skilled trades, as well as development of those individuals. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors/Customers to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. Ensures the security and accountability of spare parts with inventory control. Will evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Will develop best practice SOPs around procedures and processes for both preventative and corrective maintenance activities Will work with customer directed computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) to track KPIs of maintenance team and increase performance Will work with vendors and internal automation vendors to maintain full and complete machinery drawing library to include, but not limited to: electrical, pneumatic, I/O, spare parts lists, CAD, vendor specification drawings Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.     • Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for preforming installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, light kitchen and laundry equipment, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, capacity controls, semi-hermetic compressors, split systems, and packaged units. All HVAC units are light commercial or residential with minimal natural gas heat. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Completes work orders and special projects in a timely manner; keeps maintenance shop and storage areas neat and orderly; maintains tools and equipment in good working order. Performs maintenance repairs such as: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.• Performs scheduled maintenance checks throughout the facility which may include assisting inspectors and contractors in the testing, inspection or repair of equipment, building/mechanical systems and structures; responds to all emergencies such as; fire, smoke, panic, alarms. • Performs and/or assists in scheduled maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations and operation manuals.• Is on call for all disaster emergencies such as: snow, ice storms, fire, tornados and floods; is placed on a weekly on call schedule. QUALIFICATIONS 1.Qualification Requirements • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Position requires a minimum of one to three years of hands on maintenance and/or mechanical experience. 3.
