The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.
The Fieldservice techs responsibilities include:
Install, Commission, equipment in a manner that ensures reliability and high customer satisfaction.
Perform preventative maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Emergency repair on all EAM equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems utilizing systematic thinking while employing test equipment and hand tools to discover faults and develop plans to report, plan and execute the planned solution.
Ability to work closely with Mosca Engineering to provide the highest level of customer service.
Generate service reports that explain the work provided, parts provided and clear understanding of the issue, the solution, and any follow up needed. All done in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate daily with the area service managers and develop schedules and travel itineraries that meet the needs of our customers and provide ample time to preform the work requested.
Work with a sense of urgency but remain calm under pressure to ensure the highest level of customer service.
Skills Required
Advance understanding of machines and their systems to include but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts
Basic experience with Control systems utilizing Allen Bradley, Siemens and B&R PLC's
Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, understanding sensors, electric motors and how they interact.
Able to use a multimeter, perform point to point, read electrical schematics and trace
Able to use and read Calipers micrometers.
Able to take initiative and work independently on a regular basis
Able to communicate clearly and professionally through both written and verbal medias: Web based service reporting, Video conferencing and face to face interactions.
Able to travel extensively within the U.S. Monday thru Friday. (80%)

Responsible for proper return of all defective inventory for replenishment;
Price service calls, offering discounts or converting to full contracts when needed;
Generate service revenue of up to $500K in given work group (Individual revenue responsibilities may vary);
Prepare and develop sales quotes and follows through to close the sale. Call end-user customers, purchasing agents and Bayer dealers to finalize and ask for the order;
Interfaces heavily with Service Admin/MSRC billing processors to ensure proper & timely invoicing. Responsible to assist in collection activities within a given territory;
In some cases, generates customer interest and communicates to Service Marketing Rep;
Generates and communicates sales leads to respective sales rep for new product or disposable opportunities;

Position Summary
The retail Sales and ServiceTechnician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. This role is primarily responsible for serving the customer through assessing needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services.
Successful individuals in this role will learn all aspects of store operations and effectively flex between interacting/ serving the customer and efficiently completing basic vehicle service tasks as required.Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.90
Responsibilities
Hybrid Role
Customer service, sales, customer issue resolution- 75%.
Basic vehicle service tasks, oil, tires, fluids- 25%.
Store operations, opening/closing, inventory, displays- as needed basis.
Growth and career development role
* May assist Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances or to support development.
* Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front/back shop tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid automobile driver's license.
Customer service and career growth mindset.
Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
Ability to learn and operate store systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other exhibiting the growth mindset that is needed in this candidate.
Previous consumer retail sales experience.
Previous automotive experience a plus.
Previous management/supervisory experience a plus.

The key to the ongoing success of the business is a system-based product portfolio featuring standard as well as custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and a superior consumable packaging product, complimented by quality technical service and readily available aftersales parts support.
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.
The Fieldservice techs responsibilities include:
Install, Commission, equipment in a manner that ensures reliability and high customer satisfaction.
Perform preventative maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Emergency repair on all EAM equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems utilizing systematic thinking while employing test equipment and hand tools to discover faults and develop plans to report, plan and execute the planned solution.
Ability to work closely with Mosca Engineering to provide the highest level of customer service.
Generate service reports that explain the work provided, parts provided and clear understanding of the issue, the solution, and any follow up needed. All done in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate daily with the area service managers and develop schedules and travel itineraries that meet the needs of our customers and provide ample time to preform the work requested.
Work with a sense of urgency but remain calm under pressure to ensure the highest level of customer service.
Skills Required
Advance understanding of machines and their systems to include but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts
Basic experience with Control systems utilizing Allen Bradley, Siemens and B&R PLC's
Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, understanding sensors, electric motors and how they interact.
Able to use a multimeter, perform point to point, read electrical schematics and trace
Able to use and read Calipers micrometers.
Able to take initiative and work independently on a regular basis
Able to communicate clearly and professionally through both written and verbal medias: Web based service reporting, Video conferencing and face to face interactions.
Able to travel extensively within the U.S. Monday thru Friday. (80%)
