2004

Every year since 2004, EEF’s generous grants fund teacher and staff positions not funded by the State of Texas.

2005

EEF granted a half-million dollars to EISD for the 2005 school year — enough to save 10 teacher positions.

2009

Community leader Wally Moore, who had served EEF in the volunteer roles of both board president and gala chairperson, was hired in 2009 as executive director.

2017

Yes, Eanes Education Foundation is on track to increase their funding of EISD staffing by another 25 percent this year — supporting 50 teachers for the 2017-18 school year.
